Buc. The best thing is for CMR as been stated by many here is to be the carnival barker

Stay out of the way and let the real coaches do their thing

During the games play NPR into his headset and never turn his mic on

And a very Good Morning to you also...Buc

Go Dawgs

Some of the same plays that are in the tape above showing Keyon Brown. This particular tape shows more of his "power" at contact. Lots of truth at the beginning lead in. Focusing on more than the Eastern Division Title. I like Saban's approach better, second does not register.

A little different flavor.

SEC pissing, moaning and groaning about Franklin and urban meyer.

Grown men, no one said this would be a "fair fight". Franklin and meyer will "sucker punch" you every chance they get.

Put your crying towel down, get off of your butts, get busy with one of the things you are "paid handsomely" for . . . . road work, recruiting some call it.

Franklin and meyer are not breaking any rules, they are out to win. What does winning take . . . . recruiting in the Southeast, much like Texas A&M is doing, and doing well.

Amazes me that many want to criticize Franklin, he is simply moving forward with Penn State. Lots of folks/coaches don't like Nick Saban. One thing Nick Saban did was change recruiting in the Southeast. He gets players from all across the country, but if you look closely, he is the "king" when it comes to the Southeast, the hot bed of college football talent.

No crying towels from me Richt. Fact is you have not come close to what Nick Saban has done since he entered the SEC . . . . again. Did well at LSU, now using the same formula in Tuscaloosa. Different universities have different expectations. I said that.

Buc wrote: Couple of things stick out to me while reading the article below.

After reading the article I am more convinced that the stumbling block at Georgia has been our head coach for the past 13 years.

Prior to giving up the play calling in 2007, reading the article one would think that our head coach was head and shoulders above where our program is today.

What I have seen in the last two or three years is an offensive coordinator that has almost abandoned what the head coach did prior to him taking over play calling.

One particular thing that I did not like that Richt said was this . . . . “I think the guy knows what he’s doing, and I’ve known it for a long while, and probably longer than the normal fan has known it,” Richt said.

Sounds like the famous words that crossed Richt's lips a while back that he had tried to move away from. Hard to hide what one truly believes. Sooner or later, truth comes out, Richt.

Head coach referred to everyone outside of the "arena" as not knowing now he mentions above NORMAL FANS. Normal fan that does not suitcase over 3 million dollars a year to the bank. Some of that 3 million belongs to me and my "normal fan" friends. Still waiting for the same results or close to the results that the head coaches in Alabama have captured for their programs.

My guess is that everyone "outside the arena" includes those that have played the game, just don't understand it as well as a head coach in his fourteenth year that is still at the "mediocre level".

Just get the hell out of the way, maybe the group of coaches that are "in the arena" now can move our football team closer to the prize. Might take them less than 13 years, sir.

While I'm not a "hater" of CMR, actually kind of neutral and a new coach would be fine with me, after I read further down the article, I thought CMR defining "normal fan" in relation to Bobo and this artcle actually made sense (just didn't offend me):

"It’s hard for people to know how good a coach is sometimes,” Richt said. “Because they can only base it on what they see or stats or comparing or whatever. But what I get to see is the process of preparation, the process of not only studying film and all that, but in practice on a daily basis watching him coach QBs, watching him coach the group, watching him coach coaches. And I was very comfortable that he was doing things well, doing things with excellence

For me, that is what he meant by a "normal fan" ......we don't see these things, only stats etc etc....for me that true, I don't get to see these things because I'm a normal fan.....

That wasn't a big deal to me......now OTHER issues in the past we have discussed do and are more meaningful to the program and my thought process....

Ok, not arguing, simply pointing out the rest of what was said.... :)
