Any ideas on who will fill these positions?

The thing is, growl, most people who don't like richt don't think his "coaching" abilities will allow us to win a NC. I think he is holding the program back, keeping it from advancing. I would love to see us win a NC in the next couple of years, and would gladly admit I was mistaken about richt...just don't see it happening. I think Pruitt is a great hire, but richt still controls the overall philosophy of the team, and I don't see much changing other than our defense being better, but I think the TEAM stays on the same path with richt.

Even if we win a NC with him one day, you're not mistaken about Richt. It would just be a case of him staying out of the way and the team winning despite him.

Think about it this way... one deflected pass. What if Murray throws a TD on that fateful play against 'Bama?

Does that mean MR is all of a sudden a great coach and everything negative that people have noted about him become null and void?

True WD. I know that, and you know that, but what I'm getting at is I have said I don't believe we will win a NC with richt as "coach". So, unlike richt and the group, I don't like using excuses like, "well I said it couldn't be done, but the only reason it happened is because richt laid back," etc.
The fact is, I said it wouldn't happen, I'll own it, and if it happens, I'll accept that I was wrong about my statement, though it wouldn't make richt a great coach, or even a coach.

No shame in owning that statement if it ever came to that.

After the underachieving we've done over the years, it's a completely logical conclusion to arrive at. Own it with pride becuase it's the safe bet here.
