sadlerdawg, when I said this time I am on board with many or some that want a leader, will not leave . . . . again. Truthfully feel I lost two (2) years of my football life when personally giving mark richt another "go" at getting it "right". That is not ugly, it is expressing a view that I had voiced prior to the two (2) year hiatus.
How many chances does one person get? Still concerned that the recently crowned Athletic Director is in the same room.
I have come to believe that too many folks have accepted the 10 win seasons. They dismiss seasons like 2013 with 8 wins, saying we will ge them next year. Also has been said, grantham caused the problems, that is why we were 8-5. Some fail to look at what happened prior to todd grantham's coming on board. This lack of leadership by the head coach has been going on for years.
Older folks like myself have no choice but to "grin and bear it". At some point there has to be changes at the top, that is above mark richt and greg mcgarity.
Anyone ever wonder why Adams is still "hanging around Athens"? I do.

I can only imagine the mess that would have been.
If you know any thing about him, he's got to control something.

averagedawg, have spent quite a bit of time reading every piece of information that I can get on Adams. Another "control freak". That is putting it mildly. Now his understudy is sitting on the throne, nothing good will come from that. Adams liked to spend money, entertain and "allow" folks to see just how important he was/is.
You could not be closer to the truth with your comment about Adams and the NCAA.

A single hire has moved the attention away from mark richt, DWS. Reminds me of Washington, D.C. again, administration trying to convince everyone that they really want the best for all of us. Anyone here having health care issues at this point? Anyone here believe that our head coach has changed his personal policies of running the football program?
richt did not have anything to do with the defensive side of the ball. grantham ran that part of the operation. Mike Bobo is calling the plays in Athens. richt has become a figure head, much like the man he worked for in Tallahassee.
Some say if we lose richt, he would have a job the next day. I don't doubt that, grantham proved it can be done. I say let's give it a try. FSU did and what happened? Auburn did, what happened?
