I found that kids name. trenton Thompson from Albany. Played his team in high school (I grew up down there).

#1 rated player for 2015. Bono is recruiting him now (why wasn't anyone on defense doing the same???)

let's put Rocker and Pruitt on him like yesterday (they will) and get this kid.

If you look at the 2015 list, things could break really nicely for us. Many Georgia kids on this list. Also, some from around the Jacksonville, north Florida area which we have had some luck with, and several from the North carolina area that Lilly works so well.

After a full year in town with these new aggressive coaches, could 2015 be the start of the next generation for UGA? That generation where the name UGA means SEC title appearances 2 out of 3 years for a decade?

I have been thinking about these hires. If CMR would decide to step down in 2 years or so, Pruitt could moves right into the HC job, move Scheerer to DC since he's done that before. Or, even if Scherrer were to leave, maybe give Rocker his chance at DC? That would keep Rocker here for several years and further help us "protect this house" in recruiting

I will say this, with Smart seeming to only want to come to UGA as the top man, and not willing to come home to help us get back, I say if CMR leaves/gets fired, just promote Pruitt. He seems to be a loyal type.

BulldogShannon, your post "reeks continuity". Bag it and sell it to the "Group" in Athens.

Remember this, which I am sure most of you know . . . . Rocker was the "high five" coach at Auburn when AM was laid out by Fairley. Guess we know what Tracy brings to the table.

Another thingy . . . . Tracy Rocker coming to UGA, better believe that there were some hard feelings along the line somewhere between Tracy and the folks at Auburn.

Like the hire, time to get away from the "stuff" we have seen regarding our defense under richt's rule. Not the players, the over paid coaches.

My thoughts are this as of right now. Gus came in and turned Auburn around. Not for a minute do I believe that richt will get into Pruitt's path. Auburn had talent, needed someone to coach the young men up. Might be expecting too much from Jeremy Pruitt, he did however accept the title and hit the floor running. Scared, he ain't.

Georgia vs Auburn in Athens. This game could turn out to be "all that".

Buc, pretty good memory....the only thing I remember about that 2010 game was Fairley and that recruiting coach they have over there (Trooper?)acting like jackholes.

Got no problems with TR doing the same here...like I've said recently, my "nice guy" days are over...win me a da*n NC!!!!!!!!!

Don't have a plan B because it only gets in the way of your Plan A! Plan A=Get to a NC game and lets roll.

TThe days of worrying about Spurrier should be over....we now "own" UF, let's seperate from them. UT???? H*ll with them. We should have passed them by.

AU??? It's in Athens after two years, return the favor and bring a beating stick to the game. Get dirty with it, personal fouls if that's what it takes, beat them down where they do not want to be there between the hedges, set the tone; knock their QB out of bounds where it takes him a couple minutes to get up.

MiZZOU? They will be jacked. Go up there, quite them early with head shots and back breakers and roll them.

Bama in a SEC titile game???? NOPE, gonna be LSU. WE have matched up well with them over CMR's tenure---basically 50-50 with them if memory holds????? If Pruitt can outcoach Miles we should be one of the final 4 teams.

Get me that NC and I will never say anything bad about CMR again:):)

PS: Scratch that last sentence

11-1 and a SEC titile and we are in the final 4;

12-0 and lose the SEC title, we still have a great shot at being in the final 4

slanagan21, good to see you back.

Tracy Rocker knows his way around ATL. Has the credentials to back up what he has to say and where he has been. If this group does come together, could change the way of doing business in Athens.

Too bad Rashaan Evans pulled the trigger and left UGA out of his final decision. Would still like to see Rashaan reconsider. Defensive side of the ball has "possibilities".

Garner to Auburn, Rocker to Georgia. Show time in Athens, Saturday, November 15. Lots of work prior to that game, have to admit I have my eyes on this one.

Appears to me that there is a "backbone" in the Classic City again. What say you Erk?
