Driving in this morning I heard an interview from the SR Bowl with FSU LBers Christian Jones. He was asked the difference in DC Stoops and DC Pruitt.

Said Stoops told you what to do; Pruitt told you what to do then told you WHY you were doing what you were doing. He actually used the word TAUGHT also.

Stoops....Grantham....the same?

Pruitt, a teacher? Seems so.

I know when I show my soccer players WHAT to do, I tell them WHY they are doing it. My girls are 8, and they already know to keep good space berween themselves on the field and to always be in a space where you can receive a pass. However, they also know WHY it is important.

An athlete will perform better when they understand why they are doing what they are doinf.

While this might not happen, appears we hit the Gaillard thingy before the AJC. Nothing really surprises me about grantham at this point.

Focused on grantham for the short term, his past history will catch up with him again and his college coaching career will be over and done with. See in the link below that grantham is still using the NFL card to recruit. Understand that many recruiters will use any means possible to land a young talented player.

Say it again, said it once in this thread, Gaillard or an offensive lineman, I will take the latter. That is not a shot at Gaillard and his talent, that is a statement concerning UGA football needs to move to the next level.

Thanks for the support Buc. You, YD1, wlayton, etc al, seems to know as much as these "insiders" do.

I believe I will cancel my premium membership at the other site since I get as much info here and I don't have to pay for it:)
