Gator Bowl game day thread

Season is done and so am I.

Very disappointing loss. Dawgs looked like they were in a funk all game. The Bowl loss to me was just put a wrap on what started out as a promising season.

New Year same results. We are a mediocre team in a very good conference that just got better. Is it possible for UGA to get over the hump? Never mind ... I think I already know the answer to that.

New Year's resolution. DON"T BUY INTO THE 2014 HYPE. I love UGA and will always support the Dawgs, but no more unrealistic expectations. Actions speak louder than words.

We are an uninspired team, coached by a pathetic staff.
Problem is we will have to endure more of the same crap for years to come.
These coaches are an embarrassment to the University of Georgia and the SEC.
Not to mention the disservice to the talent on this team.
Aaron Murray was the head coach of this bunch.
Recruit some more 5 star running backs Richt and ruin their careers.
My wife, the RN, thought we played like we were in a benzo haze.
The coaches looked retarded.

Looking around the internet, trying to see if richt has a video up. Have not found one, will keep looking.

Know how he starts . . . . Congratulations to Nebraska. Then . . . . blah, blah, blah.

Hoping maybe the reason there is no after game video, richt calling it quits . . . . silly me.

grantham, watching Michigan State with their 2 and 3 star athletes play defense. Shame on you. richt, even in your so-called playing days, you were middle of the pack, at best.

McGarity . . . . you will show us just how tough you are. Coaches returning, fans will get over this season and move on. Think this time you might "step in it".

By the way, anyone notice grantham chewing the gum again? Does that when he lacks control. Has to do with his "ego" thingy. Already talking about coaching the defense up "next season".

Time now for a sacrificial lamb . . . . Lakatos maybe? I call BS. Do what some of the NFL teams are doing, kicking butts to the curb. Those butts that are supposed to understand the game, and receive pay for that reason.

I haven't said much. Not much to say. As disappointed as I probably I have ever been. This loss to Neb. was one of the all time worst IMO. That was not a good football team at all. They were missing as many starters as we were due to injury. Just truly sick of it. Speechless and it is not going to get any better.

Just not a lot to say because I truly believed CMR could do a good job. Didn't necessarily expect a NC, but I thought for sure we would be BCS bowl contenders. Really made a fool out of me. Shame on me. Really sick with myself for taking a stand. I have learned from it no doubt.

Thankfully, not robbing from me anymore. I made sure my family and friends knew not to waste any $$ on Christmas presents for me by feeding the uga machine. My brother and brother in law are close to my size, maybe I'll see if it's not too late to get fitted for some FSU jerseys.

Just kidding on the FSU, I'll always be a Dawg, but have no desire to support the machine any more until they nut up. Actually it was kind of nice to get parts for my Harley and Mustang this year as gifts instead.

At the game....nasty and very sloppy day. Not much good footing (Gurley commented he had trouble with the turf etc) and the rain never let up much....much worse on the field than on TV.

That being said, it was SO OBVIOUS we had the better players and it wasn't even close. We should beat them playing in a hurricane.

I knew we were going to lose when I saw THE COACHES let Davis go in to receive the punt he fumbled at the ten yard line (right in front of me).....AFTER he had fumbled 2-3 during the season. He should NEVER be allowed to receive a punt EVER during his time in Athens. The fact OUR COACHES put him in, in the RAIN, I knew we were done....going to be more mistakes from the "sideline".

Sad.....and I got soaked all day.
