DAWGtm, thanks for read. Book on the game was somewhere around 9.5 points. Was higher at the outset. The numbers speak volumes, and it does lend itself to more disappointment in 2014.
Wartdawg, living in Central Florida, have watched a lot of cover two, or Tampa Two as we like to call it. What I saw was not cover two, it was a group that does not understand cover two. Principle of the cover two is to keep the ball in front of the two. Give up more crossing patterns and tight end squats in the two, but never allow the deep ball.
Willie Martinez thought he understood the "two", what I saw yesterday on the 99 yarder, a repeat of Willie football. That is one of the reasons that Willie was released, could not keep the ball in front of the two deep.
The garbage coming out of grantham's mouth continues, and it will only haunt us next year. These young men are not playing football, they are being taught a game of chess, by a teacher that cannot play the game past the first or second level.
Still do not see any NFL team knocking on grantham's door. College programs either.
Defense played some good football, defense played some poor football. What was NC_Dawgs word . . . . "mediocrity".
81 fumbled the football, 27 had been the man on punts. Why the change? Some discussion here. 27 came close to dropping the ball on the last punt he caught. Did a double grab, did however hold the football.
mark richt. Has his acting scene worked out on the sideline. Stoic as all heck until the last few minutes of the fourth quarter. Goes into his "head coaching mode". Frankly, makes me sick to my stomach. Make the money he does without robbing a bank, just robbing you and I through the "Group". FACT.
Haven't heard his presser yet, will go looking.
TampaDawg, some teams whether NFL or college know when it is time to "clean house". "Loving" it . . . .
