Gator Bowl game day thread

What a joke of a season.
Didn't see the whole game, started watching at the end of the third.

Seems like our guys had a case of the drops. Never thought I'd see Arthur have the game he had today, normally a very reliable TE.

Just hope they open the qb spot up and not give mason the job. He didn't play bad, certainly the best either. Let the best man lead this offense next season.

AM will be missed

My guess is that mark richt returns in 2014.

Well once again playing not to lose bites UGA in the AZZ. Not CMR's azz, because he still gets his millions.

Buc, don't think any of us believe HM is better right now than AM, AM was a gamer and a winner. Yes, some of us had doubts. I do think CMR hurt UGA long term by not getting HM more experience in the past, just as he will next year if he doesn't get Bauta some reps in meaningful situations (assuming he isn't the starter). It gets back to what we do agree on and that is building depth.

We almost all agree in every loss and some wins UGA has been out-coached and out-motivated. It will probably continue as long as CMR is there.

One thing that stood out to me (besides our stupid 3 man rush) was the sideline reporter's comments following half-time was "CMR said the weather and field conditions were affecting his play calling". Hmm?

Seems like an appropriate ending to this season. Faton may be all that, but don't count on this staff recognizing it.

Victimized by a poor attempt at a tackle on a 99 yard pass... oft confused in the secondary... piss poor blocking most of the time.. players dropping passes left and right at the end of the game...

UGA 2013

Looking forward to 2014. We have everything on our football team in place.

Players were young this season (2013). However we will be better next season because we played many that will be on the team next season. Damon still looking like a player, (leader) right?

Herrera, will probably get better over the winter, will come back and be able to cover the tight ends, or stop the sweeps or plug the middle. Needs to put his "pointing finger" down and realize he does not belong as a first team backer.

Nebraska took Bennett away from us today, one problem, 88 had a problem catching passes on simple routes.

We gave up 27 points today. Our defense could not stop the run with our 3 man front. Yes, offense made mistakes, just wish that we had enough "defense" to stand tall . . . . maybe like the offense did in the 2013 season to save "grantham's butt".

Anyone believe that we will make the final four next season? I would like to, but even with the incoming recruits, won't happen.

AM is gone. Maybe there is an answer in Athens.

Looking forward to having both MM & JSW to stretch the field next year. Should help Mason a bunch.

Gurley played his tail off as per usual, love that guy.

D played better 2nd half but also as usual, got burned badly on a big, game changing play.
