Ex. I watched bama play vt. All I heard about was how good the bama was but the offense was bad. Then, they play A&M, and all you hear is how bad the defense is, and they are going to have to rely on offense this year. Now, its back to there D is unbelievable.

This is college football. You just have to hope your mistakes don't beat you. Ours do right now.

AD5....got me curious about OL and our offensive stats......#2 in the SEC with an average of 517.3 ypg (includes last week with our studs out) behind TA&M, ranked 1st per game.

Hmmm, I'll take that average every game, every year. Now the D????.....won't go there.

Face it sadlerdawg some are happy with 11-3 12-2 10-4 season and a loss in the SEC championship game and Cap One or Outback bowl.

We went from contender to pretender in 60 minutes on Saturday once again. Wondering if they will be happy with the Chik Fil A bowl this year. My guess would be a resounding YES and wait until next year when we will have once again have all this talent coming back and a top 5 recruiting class (Dream Team x3)

If the defense being good 2 years ago, and the O-line being pretty decent this year is enough to convince you richt is solving the problems some of us have been complaining about for 6-7 years, well, I guess nothing short of underperforming 10-15 years in a row would convince you that he's not.

Folks, can't get this type of in-depth football talk reading the mullet wrapper AJC. Couple of folks, both played and understand football having a conversation that is meaningful. This is what separates this board from others. I said that.

My point is, fans over-react with knee jerk reactions based on one game. Not making excuses for anything, but back to back SECG performances is nothing to apologize over. We went toe to toe with bama last year, and came up 5 yds short. Guess that happened out of sure luck without any coaches. A bunch of college kids coached themselves to being in the game. These kids have been taught to do it right, or else they would never do it right.

Ogre, if you thought we were still a NC contender after all we lost in Knoxville, well I am sorry. Guessing you bet on the horse with the broken leg. Please don't tell me you picked Apollo Creed in Rocky 5. No excuses right. That horse should be just as fast.

Can't even remember the last time I read the ajc, Buc. It's become such a rag the last few years. And the comments the people were making were so ridiculous and idiotic, the ajc should have had a cover charge since it was like a comedy show.
