Go Dawgs! GATA!
No....well one bad throw to a TE off his fingertips last week.
Yeah, what's up with that? Guess before the injuries, AM was so successful with the WR's the TE's weren't needed as much...bet you will see them this Sat.
Also, when we have a 3rd and 3-4 deep in our territory and desperately need a 1st down, I love that play when AM reverses and rolls to his right with a 5-6 yard throw to the FB....ALWAYS works and high percentage. Plus if it's not there he can run it. Believe he did it in the USC game when we were bottled up inside the 5 and were desperate for a 1st down.
Lynch was one of the prime receivers used against LSU on that final drive - they kept hitting him underneath, which made those LBs stay at home and made the safeties cover the middle deep. Two plays in a row. But you are correct about the FB. I was just about to post that same question - what happened to the short throw to the FB? We used it quite well against Florida and SC. Don't recall seeing it since SC. Quayvon has sure missed some blocks recently - but let's not punish the whole team by keeping the ball away from him. It's almost as if Bobo decides to remember it in some games and forgets it in others.
HOWEVER - this year, so far, I ain't blaming Bobo for anything. If our defense would just stop ONE MORE DRIVE PER GAME (think about that for a second), we wouldn't have been in such close games as we've had. And then again - don't even get me started on special ed teams.

Please don't tell me that he should have made sure everyone knew what they were doing. Doesn't work that way anymore. It is the responsibility of the players to learn the system. Coaches aren't baby sitters.
If we are going to have any chance to compete for a championship, our D is going to have to play lights out. We have played 5 games, and we have 1 INTERCEPTION, and that was against NT.
Ogre, not trying to attack you, but to constantly be calling out CMB, doesn't make it seem like you know football. You seem to focus a lot more on him than CTG. Seems there is some sort of personal vendetta or something. If I were going to be calling anyone or anything out, it would be the defense. The coach averaging 40.4 points a game, against the 3 top 10 teams, would probably be the coach I wouldn't be calling out. Just saying. I believe you know football, but pretty clear you can't turn the page on CMB. Don't point out that you have thrown a sentence in at the end of every post about the defense. I have seen them, but seems pretty clear where your issues are.
GO DAWGS, just find a way.
Would like to know this too as it seems apparently some believe injuries do not effect game plans or play calling. Would love to here why that isn't the case.
Bobo didn't coach a good game by any stretch of the means at Tennessee but his side of the ball was hit hard by the injury bug.
TG's side of the ball is young like we all know but it seems like the defense hasn't shown ANY signs of improvement against the pass.
Would love to know why bobo gets all the hate, even when his play makers are going down forcing him to be more conservative than we have seen so far this year while Todd Granthem's defense was the main contributor to our struggles against a below average Tennessee team.
