Well. Injuries suck. We got points on the board at the last minute last week. And the D well they tried to hold. The boys put a W on the board and that is what is important.

What next?

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

It will be a defining moment in our team. We know we where out coached and out played last week. Guarantee the players and coaches know it too. They will either let it defeat them or they will grow from it. I think we will come out strong and I hope the fans will be as loud and supportive like during the SC and LSU games.

Me personally have been in a funk this week I know we won but it has felt almost like a loss. So saying that guess I have work to do so I'll be ready for Mizzu also

Missou coming to town and we can't afford another let down like in TN. Like you DAWGtm, win did not feel as good as it should. But it was a W.

This team is facing adversity head on. Like that alot. Time for youngest of pups to step up.

Keep waiting for some improvement out of D.

Boils down to 4 things for me:

1. Bobo cannot coach scared. After the injuries past week it seemed like bobo was calling safe plays, he was rattled when our guys going down. Bobo you've got a week to prepare some players that might have thought they were going to see limited playing time this year. Week isn't ideal but it's something. As buc would say COACH EM UP.

2. Guys that are playing have got to be like JJ was and come through for us. Don't want to see wide open passes dropped, wrong routes being run, etc.

3. If the game is on the line and we have the ball let AM do his own thing. He has that "I refuse to lose mentality". Bobo trust your QB.

4. On the flip side if the game is on the line with our d on the field, they must step up and make plays. Last night watched the falcons drive down the field to take a one point lead. Jets get into field goal range kick the game winner. Our defense needs to step up make plays on the ball tackle in the open field. Like up and play fundementally sound ball and we should get enough stops to win.

On a side note Missouri's pass rush looks pretty nice. Their secondary breaks down easily. If our line can give AM the time he will rip their secondary apart.

We have the depth at WR time to use it. Another option is using Bauta in some way or another. Big, strong, physical knows how to handle the ball. Might use him to catch some balls coming out of the slot maybe or even wide. He knows the playbook so he should fit right in.

But then again I never played the game  so what do I know

Losing Justin Scott-Wesley bothers me the most of the guys we lost. JJ Green can tote the rock, so we're still okay there. No offense to Brendon Douglas, but he lacks SEC speed. Still, he is serviceable up the middle. Our TEs aren't gone either, so we do have some possession receivers (I'm NOT including McGowan among them - too many dropsies coming from him). But JSW gave us SPEED and ROUTE RUNNING and CATCHING. We were watching a future NFLer in the development. When he went down, my heart sank. :(
