YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT COACHING THEM UP! I'll bet there's a LOT of that going on this week!

Brother, check this link out if you have not already. This is coaching them up. All we have to do looking at these puppies talk is look at their eyes. They believe. Come on Jay.

Picked this paragraph up from another site that I visit often. After reading this, had to stop and take a walk.

Sorry, just not going to listen to some "stuff" that is being said by a coordinator that somehow deflects what is going on, keeping himself clean.

Grantham fails here, forget returning to the NFL. Right now it seems to me that Grantham is not getting better, seems to be slipping year after year. I remember his predecessor doing the same thing. Just calling it like I see it. Much like thriller and others do on this board . . . .

Trying not to be too ugly, but I sure as heck am not gullible. When you are the leader, and you are close to the middle of our schedule and you say this . . . .

"To be a good defense, you've got to be able to put the fire out," Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham said. "When the other team gets going because of a missed field goal or a blocked punt and their crowd gets into it, when you go back out on the field, you've got to put the fire out. That was a learning experience for us, but we're going to move forward with a victory."

Did I miss something. Learning experience, did Grantham say that? Said earlier, going to watch Todd Grantham's defense closely this Saturday. Mark Richt has given Todd Grantham a free reign on the defensive side of the ball. Grantham, can only speak for myself, it is not pretty. Said a week or so ago that I was going along with your program, going along until next season. Could it possibly be that you need to come off of your "high horse"? Maybe you are not coaching up, could be it is the reverse of that.

If AM bails you out again, going to approach him like you did in Knoxville? Just asking again. Reason, I think I have been through this before on the defensive side of the ball. Truthfully, don't really have good feelings about what I see, especially with the talent that is on the bench. Trying real hard to figure out why you should make a million or more bucks a year and not show improvement. Grantham, the party is over. You either can or can't. JMHO

Buc, I hope your right about Green having a good game. I would love to see Hicks in front of him to give him a little more protection. I would like to see our game plan open up with a bunch of short routes, ya know the ones these guys have been running since middle school. Deep timing routes may not be there this Sat with the exception of Conley and Wooten. AM can dissect a D with those quick slants, outs and drags!

I'm with y'all on running man! We have speed and athleticism in our secondary and it's being bottled up in CTG confusing (to the young pups) zone D. Keep it simple with a 4 man front and man to man. That will slow the game down for these kids and maybe we will see a pick or two!

sflanagan21, Green has that quickness that I believe separates some running backs from others. Reminds me of Warrick Dunn that played for FSU, Tampa and the Falcons. Kind of back that actually avoids the "big hits" that the big guys like to put on running backs. Tends to get those knees up high, much like track folks do.

sflanagan21, for sure we get to watch Green start, and if I know anything about the way Mike Bobo will call the game, Green will be used. Looking forward to Saturday and Green presence. Does well, maybe gives Gurley more time to heal.

Have to believe Davis will be flying down the sideline more than once against Missouri. Not a doubt in my mind that Gary Pinkel watches tape. :)

On the subject of punting, might want to take at the link below.

Buc, watched film of the TN game again last night. One thing that stood out while watching Green run was his vision. Kid has great eyes and awareness around him! And your right he has thst quickness and elusiveness that most backs do not have. Also noticed the high knees, actual helped him break a few arm tackles. Thanks Buc, feeling a whole lot better about Green today!

Still would love to see Turmans red shirt pulled though. Gurley has that warrior mentality and he will be pushing it to get back on the field and we do NOT want him back till he is 100% ready! I just don't see Douglas being very productive, he wowed us against SC but by the time he came in the Chickens had already thrown in the towel and did NOT want any part of some big boy with fresh legs lowering his head like a ram! Again, I hope he proves me wrong but he just doesn't hit the hole fast enough. BUT I love those passes outta the backfield to him on the run!!!!

GO DAWGS
