I've supported CTG, but if our D doesn't start looking like they know how to line up and who to cover I'm going to
start suggesting CW become the DC/DL coach, and we can replace Grantham with a ST coach.

Not serious there yet, but I'm getting closer. I'm sick of our defense looking like they don't know their assignments.

SICK OF IT.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good post as well sadlerdawg!!

How dang hard is it to get them LINED up?? I can understand a blown assignment every now and then, but getting LINED UP????

I'm with ya there, wart. I've always appreciated Grantham's intensity, but something is definitely amiss with these players knowing their assignments. It really became obvious last year when all of our NFL talented defensive players looked clueless more often than not.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Watched the Cowboys and the Broncos yesterday and was astonished at what I saw. Almost a carbon copy of whats going on with our defense. Dont know if there is a correlation or not, but, UGA needs to change what its doing, I could care less about the others. The only reason I mention it is because there did'nt seem to be any urgency there either, and our DC came from the Cowboys, too much of a coincidence for me to look past. GO DAWGS!!!!!!! GATA

Know a little about the Cowboys/Broncos game yesterday. Monte Kiffin was the defensive coordinator for Jon Gruden. Kiffin actually used Tony Dungy's Tampa 2 defense. Jon Gruden as coach of the Tampa team found out quick that Manning will eat your lunch if you use that defense. Kiffin is a 4 man front disciple, plays to stop the run. Slants over the middle are a killer for the Tampa 2.

Pass Defense
Georgia's Aaron Murray was given easy first-down throws all half. Chris Conley made a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab, and some luck—a tipped pass on fourth down falling in Conley's lap, going 24 yards and setting up a Bulldogs touchdown—was also involved.

UT post above.....hey pal, UT's 1st TD should have been ruled OB.

AM is the reason his sorry, worthless team just racked up another "L". If he thinks it's so easy being lucky, maybe HIS half-@553D team should try it sometime.
