thriller, last time I looked, we are a 8.5 -- 10 point favorite against Missouri.

Guess that says a lot about talent and depth. Sure hope that we use it the right way.

Snooping on the Missouri sites, they feel real good about the way they are playing. Many of the tiger writers and bloggers think this boils down to AM again leading the charge.

Still feel that Green is going to have a huge game. Big fan turnout can and will be worth a couple of points. Might be a breakout game for Rome, fingers crossed.

Many will be watching Grantham's defensive play calling this game. Know that I will.

Missouri is coming to play. Truthfully, have this feeling that our offense will continue to move the ball. No dropped balls will play a huge part on Saturday.

thriller, remember you mentioning man coverage earlier this year.

The thing about Mizzou is they have not played anyone yet, other than Vandy and we ain't Vandy. They should be feeling pretty good about themselves Buc. They have already matched last years win total.

Looked at who they have played ogredawg, agree it has been a soft schedule up to Vanderbilt. They are scoring a lot of points, maybe should against the competition they have played. What really bothers me ogredawg is this, and not trying to be ugly.

Tigers will be in a spread offense with James Franklin running the show. Franklin was a feared man prior to joining the SEC. Had us concerned prior to our game in 2012. 13 td's this season, 3 interceptions. Big man, will run.

Surprised me that they beat Vandy in Nashville, 51-28? Confusing score to me.

Keep saying it ogredawg, think that JJ Green is going to light it up.

I am with some others that say this . . . . if we can, would like to see Gurley sit until well. Gurley was banged up against Clemson, still think that game might have a different outcome if Gurley had not sat a quarter. That is water over/under the bridge.

One thing that I do have my eyes on . . . . gators. Without Gurley, not a good thing.

Agree with you, we ain't Vandy. Trying to look down the road and that ain't smart either. One thing for sure, we will play on real turf this Saturday, not a lot of dye and sand.

Not trying to be a snappy commenter, but I'm afraid we are a lot CLOSER to being Vandy than we were this time last week. I'll be blunt about it - Scott-Wesley gave us TWO burners on the field, with another (Douglas) on the sideline. And he had crazy-glue hands. I hate to say this, but I truly believe Rhett McGowan has bricks at the ends of his alligator-arms.

If we get into a scoring contest with Franklin, it may not be pretty. We sure had a tough go of it against the Vols, and they don't even have a QB! AM carried us on his shoulders this past Saturday - the whole darned team - but as good as he is, it sure would be nice if he was throwing to reliable receivers. One play on Saturday, deep in our own territory, I thought he threw the ball away - turns out he threw to a spot and the receiver completely blew the route. I THINK that one was right before the blocked punt. I'm afraid the backups just can't carry the load. If I was Mizzou, I'd just double team Conley and make AM use his other receivers, while loading the box against JJ. Brendon Douglas wouldn't scare me in the least.

We need Quayvon BIG TIME this weekend!!! And Arthur Lynch!!! And JJ Green!!! And Conley!!! And Wooten (don't get hurt, son)!!! And Jay Rome!!! Rhett McGowan? Quit dropping the ball when it hits you in the hands!!!

Good stuff thriller, calling it the way you see it. Most of us on this board try to stay away from naming names, but sometimes . . . . in the case of Rhett McGowan, you are right.

Offense is being a little tight lipped, would not be surprised to see Rumph play. Have a feeling that Blake Tibbs lines up Saturday. If Missouri trys to double on Conley, only takes a first grade route runner to get open.

Would it not be a "hoot" if Green a freshman, Davis a freshman stood tall between the Hedges?

At this point, going to say again, want to see what Todd Grantham does with a full compliment of players. One thing for sure. Herrera cannot cover the speed receivers that Missouri has over the middle. By the way . . . . what ever happened to Stripling? Just asking, having some thoughts about use of depth. Depth, did I say Depth? We have players, just have to be coached up.

Been around too long not to recognize coaching difficulties. We are having a bit of that. JMHO.

Allow me this. To those that did not like AM. Same young man that has spent his summers trying not only to self improve, trying to make this group of players in Athens that spent time with him better, making folks like me :)

Buc, if the freshmen come through with a big game, people will lose decibels off their hearing. I hope so. Saw Stripling on Special Ed Teams against LSU - can't remember seeing him in any other role.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT COACHING THEM UP! I'll bet there's a LOT of that going on this week!
