he is happy with 3 and outs so be it. This kind of game plan has cost us before and it will again. He is not going to exploit their weaknesses that you have pointed out so be it. He wants to play to their strengths so be it. Call it coach speak if you want. I call it stooopid. If you agree about playing to their strengths after so vividly pointing out their weaknesses so be it.

Playing not to lose so be it

Believing a coach plans for 3 and outs is what I call stupid. If you really believe what Bobo said, than I have some ocean front property in Oklahoma that I will sale you. I am betting we take shots down the field, and I am betting we try to run the football.

If I were a betting man, would place the bet on #88 having a real good day, causing LSU some problems.

Not that I want to get into a silly argument, but . . .

I think there is a HUGE difference between the following two statements:

1. "We are happy with 3 and outs and look forward to punting."
2. “We’ve got to be happy with three- and four-yard runs and take care of the ball, and if we’ve got to punt, we’ve got to punt. We don’t want to punt, but let’s not give them a short field either.”

Some make no distinction between the two - I do. Against a top 10 team, you sometimes are only going to get 3 or 4 yards and you sometimes are going to punt. Grim reality, and no one has to accept it more than coaches. Even the Great Saban does that from time to time.

Buc has said this many times before, and it's starting to show itself everywhere - apparently many in the media (circus) must be reading this site (anonymously I'm sure).

This morning I heard a "radio sports journalist" familiar to us all mention that ZM is a less mobile QB than anyone we've faced this year - I read it here first. He mentioned that our LBs will be focused on stopping a stout running game, but that at least "they will know where ZM is" and won't have to account for him as much - I read that here MANY times prior to hearing that. He also mentioned that while LSU has a good defensive front 7, they aren't as tested as ours - I've read that many times here.

It was like deja vu all over again.
