My opinion is that Nebraska was better than this Clemson team, I also feel like our D is going to be a little better than last years D (yea it may take a quarter to get out the jitters). And there is NO doubt that Gurley and Marshall are both bigger and stronger than last year! I would feed the ball to those guys until Clemson's front line is begging for some help from their secondary and then turn AM loose! No way can they stop us!! I'm not delusional at all, if you can't see how much talent is at UGA and the change that has taken place there since the SEC CG then your not following the program close enough... 49-17
GO DAWGS
Be careful, sflanagan21 - you're about to take over my spot as the official Red and Black Kool-Aid drinker on this board!
thriller, no offence but I draw my on conclusions from what I see and NOT what I read... The proof is in the pudding!!

I'm a Red-And-Black-Kool-Aid drinker, and have been since around 1968. I ain't apologizing for it either.

I agree.
I think this year's defensive unit is going to be a much improved group versus last year. Our offense is going to be off the chain. (Don't want to mention the "H" word, but if we're not in the conversation, then we will officially have entered Bizzaro world.)
Personally, I think the game with Clempsun is sloppy at first. The thing to remember is that we love to keep 'em close. However, I also think we win by 2 to 3 TDs, and Gurley tops 100 with Marshall also up there. Essentially, this will be UGA/Nebraska 2.0. Same result.

LimeyDawg, that is one of the more well grounded and realistic comments around. I especially like "UGA/Nebraska 2.0" part. Well said!

Particularly liked this comment . . . .
Something I found profound was a talking head making the point that we should not lament losing all the "talent" we had on defense last year because that unit "did not play well."
With you, the talking heads are a "story" themselves.
Speaking to our defense this season, with the speed, size and apparently atlheticism, has to be of concern to Clemson.
If one watches tape on Clowney for example, it is possible to game plan for him. Might not work, but knowing something about him helps setting up a the players that will see him "regularly". SS will bring Clowney from both sides, something like we did with Jarvis Jones.
Clemson can watch the last three years of tape on our defense, they however do not have much or anything on this 2013 group. Todd Grantham has been around for a long time, he knows that, will use what he knows and Clemson does not to our advantage.
Good to hear from you again.
