Wartdawg, hope you are on this site forever. Cut no corners, give no slack. That is what I see reading your posts. Reminds me of more than one on this board that "lays it out there".
Steve has got this figured out. You don't get on this board and survive if you can't pass the test.
A bit surprised when I look at the members, meaning folks that came to this site, signed in, gave x amount of information, and don't post.
First off, there is no one here that will nail you unless you are a total you know what. Beginning to think that some of the new members jump on this site to read the "real" football talk, otherwise, why join?
Think that some that registered here are maybe a bit like the folks that play the game of "FIRST" on the AJC blogs. Easy to be "stupid" there, here it is not allowed. On this site, it is UGA/Georgia Football discussions above the "First Grade Level". On this site you can contribute or . . . . get your butt kicked. After some come to this board, it is noticeable that they do not understand . . . . football. AJC welcomes you. I said that, they need the hits. Going the way of the Washington Post . . . . down hill. Said that too.
Anyone notice that Amazon bought the Washington Post for several bucks? Wonder where the lack of sports coverage within the AJC will lead the Cox Group. If you go to the AJC and look in the recruiting area, chances are you will see the same information for a long period of time. Information is hard to get sometimes, appears to me that those responsible for getting that information are far behind many sites by hours and days.
Go to the ABH and you will see current information. Mark Weiszer is fast becoming my favorite journalist. Mark is damn sharp.
Watch Seth Emerson, day after day, the young man is standing tall. He has the privileges that the AJC and others do, difference is . . . . he reports. AJC has the same problems that many of the "older" carriers have, they are lost.
Once upon a time it was the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution. If they continue on the same path, it will be . . . . ?
Edit: Guess I got side tracked. thriller and goose, a couple others said be cautious on the upcoming game. Meaning 14 points.
I take the 14 points and raise you . . . . 6. We win by 20 or more. I truly believe that Mark Richt will let the Red and Black loose. I watched Georgia beat a very good Nebraska team by 14 points. Nebraska in my mind is head and shoulders above Clemson, then and now.
Points are an easy argument/discussion. Some things never change. Buc for sure will take a one (1) point victory against Clemson.
I have to remind myself that Clemson beat LSU. Folks in South Carolina think they have figured SEC football out. See you ACC Tigers on 8/31/2013. That is a DATE, we will be there. Make a lot of noise, before halftime, after that the stadium will be covered in Red and Black.
