Time to Talk Georgia/Clemson

Many here know that I have had much to say about our hiring of Sherman Armstrong. What he does for our players (and coaches) won't be written in the AJC.

The link below goes into detail about Armstrong. My opinion, this is the way to build our football team. Hope we can keep Sherman for a long time.

Know that some folks don't really like to read long posts, this one takes a couple of minutes, well worth reading and getting to know more about our football team.

S&C is one of the main reasons that we will beat Clemson.

Right out of the gate I want to see the fire in CMR that I saw after the SECCG. Piss and vinegar. Punch Clemson in the nose and don't let up.

A few things that need to be mentioned:

Last 10 meetings UGA leads series 7 - 3.
Last 10 meetings UGA outscored Clemson 244 - 193
Last 10 meetings UGA is 3 - 2 playing at Clemson
Last 10 meetings UGA has won last 5 in a row.

Side note: A memory of the 2003 season, after we beat Clemson 30 - 0 and SC 31 - 7, was Scott Howard signing off his radio broadcast, "And from Sanford Stadium it's The Bulldogs 67 - the Palmetto State 7".

The only gripe that I've ever had with CMR is his intensity. But that all changed during and after the SEC CG. He knows how close we are to a NC and the fire is raging! The whole nation will see on Aug 31st!

Oh and HM will get some playing time in that game...

It will NOT even be close and HM will get some snaps in that game!!! My opinion is that Nebraska was better than this Clemson team, I also feel like our D is going to be a little better than last years D (yea it may take a quarter to get out the jitters). And there is NO doubt that Gurley and Marshall are both bigger and stronger than last year! I would feed the ball to those guys until Clemsons front line is begging for some help from their secondary and then turn AM loose! No way can they stop us!! I'm not delusional at all, if you can't see how much talent is at UGA and the change that has taken place there since the SEC CG then your not following the program close enough... 49-17
