Reviewing the 2012 season

Well honestly that just goes back to every time I see us run with the FB, the D is usually so
surprised that he picks up 8 before they even know what is going on.

Honestly though... said it many times. I am not now and did not complain about Bobo play
calling this year.

If I were to complain it would have been early on when I think we didn't utilize or TE's
as much as we did late in the season. We got better when we incorporated the TE's more
in the O, but it seemed it took injury to make that happen.

No big deal though... our O produced.

I'm just a TE and FB sort of guy. They are all eligible and FB's out of the I can be used on quick traps when the D is keying on the TB.

Overall, a pretty good year.
Disappointed, of course. Proud nonetheless.
Probably my biggest disappointment, our rushing defense. Maybe due to lack of depth. I have talked to a few 'Bama fans, surprised we kept the same players in without much rotation.
Alabama has a great O Line. We could not stop them, knowing exactly what they were doing.
A few more possessions, I think we win that game.
What separates us from Alabama and LSU, lack of defensive depth.
I actually think Bobo coached as well as Grantham this year.

Your right averagedawg.....I believe we only had 4 DL for the game....need more depth at the position, they got worn down.

Heard a stat starting with the BAMA drive before the blocked FG/TD, then BAMA's 2 methodical drives sandwiched with our one 3 and out, our D was on the field 23 of 25 minutes during that span. That right there was a big shot to the solar plexus of our D.

To me, the difference between us and Alabama, other than style, is about 4 yards.
