Reviewing the 2012 season

There are some that would say this season was a let down, an opportunity for a national title blown, that is fine I share your pain. But let's look at our season as a whole. A blow out loss to south Carolina is the only negative thing I see with our season. We have beat the gaytors two years in a row. Shut out auburn, beat the teams we were suppose to beat and sit at a nice 11-2 record. We have found out that Todd gurley will be a monster in the coming years, and if Aaron Murray returns we will have one formidable offense next season. Mark Richt seems to have found some fire in his belly, he has changed. This team competed with whom I consider to be the best team in America right now, Alabama, for 4 quarters. I am no longer scared of watching our team line up against the "big boys" of the west. That game in Atlanta showed we are capable of competing with anyone, it could of gone either way we just were on the wrong side. The schedule gets a bit tough next year but I am looking forward to the 2013 season

It was a great season... team did really well, but I can't fault anyone for
feeling a bit let down it was yet another year without an SEC title.

I suppose if we want to view UGA as attempting to build a program, we can once again talk about progress and how we're getting there.

Maybe next year... once again will be our cry. :(

Yes though.... it was a continuation on the progress we made in 2011, and in that regard
a major success.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Yes.

Bittersweet for me.

While it appears the Dawgs have arrived "back on the National scene".....it tears the heart out to have been SO close.

Very proud of the DAWGS (players, coaches and staff) and very proud TO BE A DAWG!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Not winning the sec does suck. On so many levels. Especially coming so far. But 2 seasons ago we were sitting at 6-7 letting spurrier represent the east. Major improvement in my mind these last seasons. Questions have popped up all over the board if Richt can lead this team if we are sliding into being irrelevant. Any team that can give bama a game is a team on the other spectrum of being irrelevant. Can't say I'm not dissappointed about the sec championship game though, so freaking close.

We can certainly pull the ferry out of the mothballs.....believe the "compass" is now pointing in the right direction.

(don't worry people, it's not starting up again B) ;) )
