But what sucks is ESPN and all the polls don't like us.

I don't care what those boys n gals in Connecticut think about us, and I'm not sure
the polls don't like us.

Before we lost this game, we were ranked 3rd in the nation.

The #1 team was undefeated... check. The #2 team just beat us... check. The AP poll has
us only behind other teams that only have 1 defeat, so hard to say much is unfair there.

The BCS poll has us behind only 1 other two loss team, and that's because it takes into
account the computer which figures in something for strength of schedule. The computer poll is just a computation... the math is whatever it is. So there is certainly no
issue with how we were ranked this year.

In past years.. if anything we have come out ranked too high at times.. at least we opened
a lot higher than we ended in several past seasons.

I'm not worrying yet about next year and how we come out ranked then. We will have our chance to prove anything we want to prove on the field. I don't even think we will be ranked as low as 15-20 even if we lay an egg in the also ran bowl this year. I bet we
open up no lower than 6-7, and that's a conservative estimate.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I think I said that the players played great in the SEC championship. I have some questions about the OC AND DC. I am takng nothing away for the way we played. I was just giving my opinion on how the 2012 season went, and it I thought they improved over last year or not.

My question was what kind of excusses are some going to make if we lose to NEB. We have tons of talent, and yes it was one game, and everyone has those kinds of games, refering to the USC beat down. I guess you could say Fl beat down USC as they did us, so tit for tat.

Please don.t think I am being negitive, for I am just being cautious, for as great of a game as they played against ALA, they could play a lack luster game against NEB and start 2013 on a negitive. Just because they play 110% against ALA, does not mean we have turned the corner and we are now a national power.

Now if you believe that CMR,BOBO, and CTG are on the right track, I will be a believer if we win 4 of the 5 games nest year. Clem,USC, North Tex, LSU, or Tenn. We can lose one and still be OK, but lose 2 or 3 then we may be in for a long season.

Once again, I was not and did not take nothing away from the way the players played against Ala, and yes they held their own until they ran up over 300 years rushing a record for the SEC championship.
But there again, they have the best OL in the country, so not faulting our players. It has been a long long time since I have seen so much heart and desire. It really does make you proud to be a dawg even in a losing game.

Idk i believe bobo actually called a fair amount of decent games this season, and as wlayton said i dont agrue with the fact that gurley was the main back. you have to have a back that will run over folks to run the ball on them, bamas d is too fast to have someone like Marshall try to run around them, altough im sure he could of done it a few times. The South Carolina game comes to mind as the only mess up this team had, and do yall remeber what CMR said about it being a perfect storm for them, i think he was right. I do not think that florida or south carolina could hang with bama like we did. i wont lie i was dissapointed with the run d in the sec championship game, but bamas offensive line is the best in college football, saban was right whoever ran the ball better would win the game, but i bet he sure as hell was scared of being wrong. I dont think we lose to Nebraska, i honestly think this will be the Hawii game all over again, kinda feel cheated that we didnt get a BCS bid, like they were punishing us for winning the East and playing in an extra game. Next season will no doubt be a tough one, but that is when we truely get to see what this team is capable of, LSU comes to our turf and that is the game i want to see us win, and ofcourse Florida.

I think the balance of power in the SEC is slowly shifting back to the East, and I think we will again win it if certain players come back.

Really? Respectfully, I find that sort of odd. I would have been much happier if we would have won the SEC championship game and not gotten throttled by SC for the 3rd year in a row.

Don't get me wrong... I'm once again not saying I want to self
immolate or anything, but yeah... I could have been much happier.

Even if we say the NC game was played Saturday night, I would still be much happier had we won it. Fact is though...
it wasn't the real NC game, and that and our adventure in SC has us playing a team not even in the top 12 in the Credit Card bowl.

All I ask is for the team play their butts off and for the coach's to coach their butts off as long as they do that I'm happy. Would I like that championship yes but it's not the end of the world to me if we don't get it.

stanger with you on the young players returning next season. Have always been a big supporter of Ramik Wilson, 2013 he will shine. Know for a fact that Ramik is a head hunter, he will make all of us happy. Plays football a bit like #9. Grantham likes Ramik.

Alec Ogletree in my opinon was the "star" on the defense when he was in the game. Stuff happens sometimes. "Tree" will be a huge hit in the NFL. Can play a couple of positions which relates to Todd Grantham and the progress CTG is making in Athens.

AllDawgs5, not surprising that you like Ryne Rankin. Young man from the Orlando area, and yes he will come to play and play hard every down. He is very intelligent, will get playing time as soon as Grantham/Olivadotti think he is ready.

Some folks in the Bulldawg Nation will never be happy with a seasons outcome. At one point I was thoroughly disgusted, but I am a realist and can see past my nose. Changes have been made in Athens and I refuse to go along with those that don't know as much as they think they know. Was always hard for me to listen to folks that talk out of both sides of their mouth.

stanger, A+ sits well with me. When I get to the point that I can call plays as quickly as some seem to think they can, maybe I will learn a lesson that somehow passed me by.
