i believe i said we wouldnt beat florida. im glad i was proven wrong, this team showed me one game doesnt make a year and that final judgment should be placed at the end of the season. and buc i know you werent talking about the folks on espn, but it seems to me that many people put alot of their faith in the words that come out of those mouths. i hate the way espn and other media outlets show no love toward this team, even that guy who asked richt about not winning big games after the bama game, stuff like that gets to me.

At the beginning of the year i forgot who started the post asked us what we thought Georgia was going to do, or what we were hoping for out of the year.

What two things I remember posting was
1. I was concerned about the offense line.
2. Was Bobo going to call plays like he always does.

Well on the 1st one the OL was the weakest part of the team but over the year they got better in Saturday's game just shows how much better they got. With that I believe next year the OL is going to be twice is good!

And on the 2nd part Bobo's plays calling was night and day like a light switch turning on. If he does it next year and puts in all kinds of different plays man the official is going to be so much more powerful than they were this year!

The 3rd thing may have been something to do with players getting in trouble off the field. If that was it I'm hoping like crazy the players behave and have all the players on the field at the beginning of the season next year.

Also I was concern after the SC game the Dawgs may lost two more games before the regular season games ended. And boy was I thrilled i was wrong!

For the SECCG, man I couldn't be prouder for the effort the Dawgs did Saturday night. Bama just made one more play then the Dawgs did. I can't wait to see the Dawgs in the Capital One Bowl, just wish it was the BCS championship game!

I'm right here guys, I'm no fool, I know you are talking about me. Yes I said we would have a losing season after we got brat down by USC, but we didn't and I was wrong, we played some sorry ass ball at times and were lucky to win. Shawn Williams called out the D and things began to turn around. Cold we beat USC today, or Fla today don't know, but just because we played one game against Bama with the most fire and 110%, does not mean we'd beat the no 2,3 4,5,or 6th team in the country.

Some people just read what they want to out of my post, I am taking nothing away from the Ala game or the players, great game, best in history. You say there is improvement from last year to this year, where, show me, if we win the bowl game then OK maybe we are on the up swing, but we lose to Neb, then what has gotten better, that is all I am saying, and some on here think they know so much, may not be so smart.

I am not one of these band wagan flip flops that states CMR must go, and now he's great or he's changing for the better, this is bull, and I say CMR still must go, for he will never win the SEC, or a NC. Some one here a happy as peas in a pod, that we won 11 games, well great, if that all you care about, then you are like the majority of fans, win a few and go to a bowl, how cares about championships.

I'm here, call me out anytime you want, I don't change my stance just because we win a few games, change is still needed in Athens, but what do I know. I guess I can go back to my slang, I guess we'll see next year who is right and who is wrong.

I'm really sorry it I am offending anyone, but I don't talk about other posters on here, I may agree with you or not, but I don't call you out, so what I don't agree with the fairy tale that some one here wish to believe that everything is wonderful at UGA and only getting better.

The bottom line, is one great game, does not make us world champions, nor does it make things right in Athens.

Regarding comments about us having an easy schedule:

I think it's okay to say one SEC team might have had an easier schedule than another SEC team. I don't see a problem saying our schedule might have been easier than SC's because we skipped Bama and LSU in the regular season and they had to play them.

Outside of that though... don't care to hear it if someone is comparing us to any non SEC team.

Plus I can't say it enough.... I don't even get riled up by anything said by anyone from ESPN. I'm pretty sure their long feud with Ted Turner has led them to permanent bias against anything from the state of Georgia. There are very
few people associated with ESPN that could hold a candle to 3/4 of the members here when it comes to real knowledge.
Plus if you've ever read anything about that place... it's more of a frat house of drunken fools more than anything else, and the only people there that know day from night are buried deep on the on air depth chart.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I think most comments about him prior to this season had validity, but he stepped it up this year as the season progressed. I don't recall saying much about play calling this year. I just hope he doesn't forget about the TE and FB when he gets a full stable of healthy WR's back!

Wartdawg, when I look over the returning group for the offensive side, gives me much comfort. Not only is there a tremendous amount of "proven talent", there is also within this group a knowledge that they can put points on the board. Have not seen many defenses whether in the SEC or outside our realm that can prevent this group from moving up and down the field. Call it what anyone wants, according to Mark Richt, this group is lead by Mike Bobo. I don't find Mark Richt to be a liar. Might not have everything that everyone wants, but it is what it is.

I have always thought that we were too offensive minded under Mark Richt, it is understandable, that is the background that he comes from. Think about that. Bobby Bowden believed in offense. He had some good defensive teams and players, but his guiding light was offense.

Bowden's downfall came when he had too many folks that were either family or friends enter the picture at FSU, thus the downfall. Mark Richt followed that same path up until Greg McGarity came on board. No doubt in my mind that McGarity said more than "how can I help you".

Greg McGarity worked for many years under Jeremy Foley in Gainesville. Foley does not care about friends and family when it comes to Florida football. That is a given, and the head coach at South Carolina found that out when he was released by the Washington Redskins and thought for sure he would be head coach again in Gainesville. Foley does no play that game. Pissed almost the entire gator nation off, but look at the results of his decisions. I have to believe that anyone that works under a hard hand, picks up some of the same traits.

Mark Richt now has a tough ass S&C coach, same can be said for Defensive Coordinator. All we have to do is stop and take a look at those two changes under Mark Richt. Are they working . . . . appears to me that they are. Am I seeing a different Richt this year as compared to his earlier years, know for a fact that I am. My stance has changed for one reason . . . . I see change in Athens, it is not a mirage. It is a sad day in my mind when folks that care about Georgia Football refuse to accept reality. Some just don't have the depth of reasoning to do that.

I was really excited when VD signed Mark Richt, had watched Richt at FSU and know what he did there. Rocked along for a while and then the same Mark Richt got complacent, that is a fact. Turned my thinking to "time for a change". McGarity drove up, changed my mind again, I saw a "results" oriented leader that came from stern leadership in Gainesville. Took McGarity a year or so to get everyone on the same page, but I wager that is the case right now.

I reserve the right to express my feelings and what I see going on with the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Not going to be a whiner, the game with Alabama is over and done with. Time to move on and get our recruiting done and prepare for 2013. Liking the looks of the incoming class a lot, starting to build the necessary depth to play with the Alabama's of the world.

Go Dawg, coach'em up . . . . :)

Edit: Wartdawg, makes it a lot easier to coach the offense when you know that you have a Gurley in the backfield that can be counted on to play versus an IC that did not have the stomach for SEC football. Hurt every other play. Couple of running backs before IC that would rather play off of the field than on. Anyone that follows UGA Football knows what happened to the other two. Offense is close to having all of the parts in running order.
