Vanderbilt vs UGA . . .Unfinished Business

Coaching at Vanderbilt is the kiss of death.
Franklin is hoping for a decent year so he can get the hell out of Dodge.
Having said that, we have a nasty habit of making this game closer than it should.

What do you mean it's the kiss of death?? It's a plum stepping stone as
evidenced by former "how can you forget them" coaches Robbie Caldwell,
Bobby Johnson, and of course Woody Widenhofer.

Oh wait... everyone can forget all of those people...

Nevermind, you're right

I dont exactly think UGA has been playing possum on D, but, I do know that they have been cross training in critical situations and have been using folks that they think may have to back up one of the starters when the going gets a little more strenuous and S&C is paramount. I'm happy that we have been able to do this training and prepare for the rough road ahead. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!GATA

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

They've been cross training some....

They were short 5 starters for Buffalo if you include Mitchell... and shut them down in
the 2nd half

They held Mizzou about 100 yards under their average from last season while still short
players...

They allowed 20 to FAU but 6 of that was on an int return late...

Anything can happen I suppose... Vandy could score 31 on us for all I know, but I'm
not overly concerned about our D

Wartdawg, I am more hyped this season than some prior to 2012, many prior to 2012.

I feel sure I know enough about football to say that this UGA group is seriously talented. Coaches and players.

Stats you produce above prove that the "entire" team is on the same page, and if not there, are peddling fast and getting closer. Entire meaning coaches and players again. I know that I keep beating on that, just like it when I get this feeling. It is not a marriage until both partners wear the ring. We are doing that, can't remember in Mark Richt's winning years being this comfortable with what I see. Good numbers, good post, thanks . . . :)
