Imo, a win is on the DEFENSE. Nickel and dime packages with zone coverage because Mizzou is going to "dink and dunk" it down the field and they can NOT let Franklin beat you with his legs.....make him have to throw the ball. If they can shut down the run, both RB's and Franklin and make them one dimensional, I don't think Franklin can beat us.
Btw everyone......I noticed the line went from 3 1/2 down to 2 1/2.....do you think that is telling us Tree and Rambo are NOT playing??

Absolutely correct on this strategy, wlayton. Shut the run down COMPLETELY. Give up some passing yards, but NO rushing yards. Three things can happen when the ball is in the air . . . you know the rest.
The line has no more idea about Tree or Rambo than we do. Lines always tighten at the end of the week, because it is designed to attract bettors to wager AGAINST it. The final line should represent what everyone genuinely believes. And home field advantage traditionally carries an automatic 3 points, so it would seem that the consensus is that we are about 5 points better on a neutral field. Or so I'm told.
I still do not think either of those guys is playing though. Four games for Rambo, and two for Tree. We'll see Tree next week, and Rambo for UT.

Whoever that is probably roots for Vandy as well.
Let them worry about bounties on our coach. We will worry about the scoreboard.
