Scored 45 and could have easily been 60 with the plays that were called. Can't be that bad in my opinion.

Defense must improve.

AllDawgs5, I agree wholeheartedly with your points. The fact of the matter is you have a ton of offensive weapons.

King, Gurley, Marshall, Bennett, Wooten and Conley can all put 6 on the board on any given play. Mitchell, Brown, Rome as well when they are active. As I heard an NFL veteran tell a rookie tight end "there aren't enough balls to go around".

If I never saw Murray do the 360 spin and pass to the flat again it would be to to soon. However, we do need to get these playmakers the ball in space and let them make plays.

Defense will look much better Saturday night.

southernlover, you really make a good point about AM. Folks watching tape, and everyone does, pick up on the following comment you made. Easy way to give up 6 points. AD5 said it well, AM needs to look and be more selective. Huge stats don't mean a lot when the game ends with a loss. Last season, four. Said it before, probably not a bigger supporter on this board of AM than myself, took the blinders off at the end of 2011. Not sure, think I see some selfishness.

WLayton, I guess I am just hoping he will not be. I have learned from last year and the one game this year, for some reason, the defense is different when he is on the ball field. Special talent.

wlayton know that you asked AD5 about number 9. For what it is worth, I am thinking along the lines that maybe a deal was made between coach and player. What a force Tree is, teams have to plan for him much like they do Jarvis.

If coach comes out and says that he is suspended, will bother me for this reason . . . . need not lead folks along, if he is suspended, then that is it. Richt has not done that, of if he has, not skillfully. One old farts opinion, of which he has many. ;)

AD5 and others great posts on the offense...

I told my son, much the same thing on Saturday evening. It seems that AM is quick to throw the deep ball. There are other receivers running underneath routes and are available.

My only complaint was the lack of using a swing pass to the TB, and what seemed like a lack of using the TE. I believe that Mizzou will have to load up the box, and if so, we should have crossing patters and mid-tier patterns open all day. We should also be able to use swing passes as well as dump passes to the FB.

Not that I dont want to run the ball we need to shove it down their throats so that at half-time they know what "old-man football" really feels like. Then we can do whatever we want in the second half.
