High time to focus on the Missouri Tigers. Possibly we were doing some of that prior to our opening game with Buffalo. As ogredawg has said probably more than anyone on this board . . . one game at a time.

Feel sure that we are going to be lined up all over the field. No doubt that Missouri is going to spread us out, personnel dictates that. There will be an occasional shot at the big guys in the middle. Looks more and more to me that we see the 3 man front for most of the game.

Not going to surprise me to see Josh Harvey-Clemons playing some defense in this game. We know that Grantham/Olivadotti/Laktos have been working on JCH, just hope that this pays dividends.

I sure hope that we use our backs more in this game, appears that we have some folks that can gain yardage. Don't want to see Franklin with the ball in his hands like the Buffalo quarterback was allowed, think it was over 80 times. That Mike Bobo/Mark Richt would not be a good thing, almost certainly would make for a long trip back to Athens, and don't think the reception would be one that the coaches and team would like. If you can beat our players, that is one thing. Out coaching us will not leave any room for past excuses.

Buc, agree.......Run the ball, control the clock. AM, compliment the running game and NOT the other way around. Basically on offense, play BAMA style ball and keep Franklin on the bench.

Also agree we will run the 3 man front with a nickel and dime sets. JJ and CW had better be rested.

This game will show where the Dawgs O-line ready is. If they can make some holds up the middle then the Dawgs can control the clock and win this game.

Also I'm hoping Bobo will have some kind of a game plan other then what we've seen from him.

TampaDawg, at some point we (UGA) are going to have to find out "certain" things about this group of young pups on the offensive line. While some might not agree, time to put these pups paws into the fire. If we do a creditable job in enemy territory, this offensive line could grow leaps and bounds. We have size, strength, really need to find out where we are now, not three or four games down the road. Big offensive linemen like to fire out and run block, cuts down on penalties. Rocking back on ones heels is a definite advantage for the defense.

TampaDawg, I too hope that we can get away from the AM/Bobo show if the defenses do not stack the line. I am not looking for the passing game to be the only game we have, has to be a team game in Missouri. Mike Bobo has to let this offensive line grow up knowing more than pass blocking. AM will get plenty of chances to throw the football over four quarters.

Anyone here considered the possibility that the SEC (Mike Slive) would (unofficially) like to see Missouri and Texas A&M come out winners against big name teams like us and Florida? I would not be at all surprised to see the officiating going STRONGLY in favor of both new comers.

As many have said... the game plan should be clock control in order to keep the Mizzou O off the field. We need to be able to utilize the FB and TE on short passes in order to do that. I would be wary of the WR screen... I think we ran it so much in game 1 that the Mizzou DB's might jump all over that and pick 6 it.

One big play that I would love to see would be to fake the WR screen and have MB go out and up when they think he's coming out to block that screen. We could also utilize our old staple of going over the top with the TE down the middle.

Really though... while I wouldn't mind trying to pop them for a couple of big gains on plays like that... I want ball control. Eat the clock and give the undermanned secondary a shot. Keep the depth issue back there hidden by limiting the Tigers number of offensive plays.

GATA.. Mizzou is going to win some SEC games. Please Dawgs.. don't let the record books show their first was against us.

No excuses.. GATA

God Bless and Go Dawgs
