Neither coaching staff called a brilliant game...that's less a shot at the staffs and more a testament to the difficulty of game-planning against the #3 and #5 defenses in the country.

Coaching may not have done us any favors, but you can only ask that coaches give players the opportunity to win the game. Our players had several chances to put this game away and they didn't. If it was only about the coaching, then opposing coaching staffs would bring their gameplans to the stadium on Saturdays, decide which one was the better plan, and that coaching staff would be given the win for that week. Instead of that, we actually field teams and ask that the players that make up the teams execute the plans.

Bottom-line, MSU executed when they had to, we didn't.

You get an interception in OT, you should win the game.
Tell me the Offensive COACHES executed in OT and I'll strongly disagree.

Maybe if the play calling gave them a chance.
We should have won it in the first OT.

Well fellow Dawgs I Am new to this sight and I have been reading a lot of very intense post here. It's very obvious the BullDawg nation is tired of the same old excuses from the past!!!! I feel that the bottom line is that we don't have the excuse of lack of talent anymore now it's Lack of quality coaching, instruction, and plain out GATA style of coaching and performance from our student athletes!!! Lastly CMR it's time to put up or move ON!!!

Tell me the coaches did when they willingly opted for what at best was a 50/50
gamble instead of even trying something that would have increased the odds
dramatically in our favor.

Yes the players have to execute, but yes they should be put in the best position
to execute. The kicker, and I use that term loosely, wasn't put in the best position
to succeed. Put a player in a position where he had proven all season he had a 42%
chance of success, and you are willingly opting for a 42% chance of success. That's
what our coaches did. First down on their 25 and at best we chose to flip a coin to
see if we could win.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
