Same thing when Joe Cox played, probably had better back up, but JC put in his time and CMR was going to let him play win or lose, he does't care what our record is, he just wants the players to play.
I to blame coaches and players, I mean how many games has AM cost us this year, USC and Msu to name a couple. He studies the game of football, he should no better than to make some of the throws he has made. Yes he is a so, but will be a Jr next year, will be be better or do thing different, I hope so, but I have my doubts. I as pissed at our D that they let MSU drive 80 years with no time outs to tie the game. I mean are you that tired that you can't suck it up for a few more plays to try and win.
I have seen where some are talking about next year, God I get so tired of that, it seems we have become the wait til nex year group. I tell you now, nothing will be different, if changes are not made to our offense. We have run the same old plays for the past 4 years and not to hard for a defense to stop in the 2nd half. I am refering to a good guality team (ie LSU, MSU, ALA, most any team in the top 15 could stop us. I watched the missouri / NC bowl game, and Missouri looks good, their QB James Franklin ran for 2 TD's and threw for 1. I feel that this could be our 1st loss, some feel that it a sure win for us. Do ya'll not think that FLA will be better, we just barley beat them this year, that Tenn will not be better, that Auburn will not be better. What I am saying, I feel like we have met our peak, this is it, what you see today is the future of UGA football. We will get no better, I don't care if we have 22 starters baack on off and d, we will not win more the 8 to 10 games. We will also continue to lose to top 20 teams, for we do not have a winning mentallity when it comes to top 20 teams and that is CMR fault. Ya'll go out do the best you can if you win then great, if you lose, hold your head up.
I like most on hear are sick of our laid back coaches, and tired of other schools mainly USC getting better and better, while we become the also ran in the east.

Another Big Bump!thriller wrote: AD5, you are correct about that corner read. Not only that, but the ball was batted at the line. It started off on a tight spiral and wound up wobbling into that guy's arms. But the decision to throw to the flat was on AM all the way, and it was the wrong read.
It's popular to blame Bobo, and DON'T get me wrong, he gets LOTS of blame in this debacle. Friend should have given him an O-Line with enough manhood that he could run the ball up the middle, but he couldn't. What stunned me is that he still TRIED - ALL GAME LONG!
But no matter what play you call, the players have to execute. We DID try for the winning FG, after all. Honestly, if (there's that word, "if") we had had any ONE of our former kickers, Bennett, Kasay, Butler, Leavitt, etc., we would have walked away with a scary 3 point win. Instead, we had Walsh.
But I still say that with the score 27-20, with MSU on their own 16 and less than 2 minutes to play, if our D was all it's "cracked up to be", we should have won. The final score should have been 27-20. No OTs. Instead they shredded us down the field and then bullied us into the endzone. I'm sick.
I'm done commenting. I do not object to firing Richt and Bobo and starting over. Finish the Drill, my butt. I say let's finish this drill and fire Richt and hire anybody and let's move on. I think we've wrung just about all we can out of this wet rag of a football team.
Okay. My vent is over. We all saw the game. Mr. McGarity, fix what is wrong, please.
