growl one thing that needs to be guarded against is much like the young man you were hands on with. Even when he was on liberty, being shadowed supposedly, he had the capacity to get others to do the things he was doing. That is a sign of leadership, just leading in the wrong direction.
There are no set rules as far as I know that will make all young folks play by the company's rules. That is where positive leadership enters the picture. Some can, others can't. We had one back in particular that left us recently, loads of talent, everyone working real hard to bring him around. As soon as another top flight back came on board, he could not leave the campus quick enough. All of the kid gloves treatment just did not work in his case. Anyone can be "given" too much rope and the end result is what happened to the young man you posted about.
Never like to see anyone get manipulated, and that is happening far too much it appears on our campus. Don't care, or should I say, not my business what others are doing at their universities. My focus is on UGA, Athens and our football team. Soon enough we will see whether our policies are working or not. Here is hoping for the best, but I think I see some troubling waters ahead.
