Many people however, do grow out of it. Some don't and yes you can point out to some high profile
examples but there are tons of people who smoked some grass in high school and college, but moved
on to productive non drug using lives.
Let's give him a chance. A short leash, but a chance. I'm not going to say he's on a downward
spiral.. I'm going to say he's at a crossroad.

I hope things work out for the best for the kid, and I will concede to anyone that there has to be hope for anyone, especially where substance abuse is involved. I was once a NADSAP officer (Navy Alcohol and Drug Safety Awareness Program), after all. My point is this: I hope for IC that this is just a one time "young kid experimenting" thing and that he will quickly get past it. Wartdawg is correct that many people do. Maybe even most.
It's just been my observation that, physically addictive or not, the success rate for quitting cold turkey doesn't appear high - ONLY my OWN observation though. wlayton, you are right about the jury - I won't be on that one even if it eventually convenes.

If he smoked "spice" or whatever and the NCAA doesn't suspend him let him play. If he was in trouble before the UF game and they delayed the suspension I don't care. None of you can honestly tell me you would have traded a win against Florida for a suspension of our starting running back with Samuels history of underachieving.
You my friend are wrong, and not making a valid point. We have needed IC all season, where has he been? He was huge in JAX, right . . . .
