Here's the thing about the O-line, Growl..

I'm surprised someone hasn't already posted that we can't do certain elements within my so called
plan "because our O-line sucks". While that may be true to a degree, I don't think you can just
take these elements out of your game plan entirely. Yeah, our O line has been sub-par this year,
but that doesn't mean you don't even try to run straight up the gut to see if you can get that
one first down you need to run out the clock. I mentioned running quick hitting traps between
Ben Jones and the guards, and between the guards and tackles. Yeah our offensive line may not
be as good as we want it to be, but that doesn't mean we say "oh we can't do that because our
O-line sucks". I'm not talking really about pulling guards... just talking about a simple 2
man trap game on a D-line that is really going to be trying to get line penetration. These are
the things you do against a D like that.. you use leverage against them as they try and penetrate.

If our O-line sucks so bad you are not even going to attempt to do the things that are necessary
to beat the UF D, then you better not even get on the bus. Just go ahead and give up and mark down
the loss.

As far as the screen passes go, I think Duck might have said UF would be expecting that but I'm
not so sure they will be expecting that against us, because we haven't done that much of it. We
certainly haven't tried to screen to the FB at all, so I'm not so sure UF will be ready for
that or some other creative screens that we haven't run all year. Some have noted that UF will
blitz, blitz again, and then blitz some more. Quick hitting traps, screens, and quick slants
are the kind of things that turn into big plays against blitz happy D's and those plays are not
way up on the UGA tendencies sheet, so UF may not be expecting them as much as we might think.

I totally agree with everything you said wart, it just that our great oc will not run plays like that. He will stick with the hand off to IC in the back field for a loss, throw the bomb, then run IC again for no gain. I mean BOBO nor CMR can not come up with any other plays. You are reight we used to use our fullback alot. I can't remember if any of them have even had a carry much less caught a pass. I don't think they have used the slant in the past 4 games. If these players are so dumb that they can only learn 4 or 5 plays, then we are recruting the wrong people.

Figgens has 5 catches for 63 yards.....0 rushing attempts.....that is it for the FB's.....Z Ogletree has played but has yet to touch the ball

I don't think our coaching staff will do much other than more of what they've been doing. That's just the game
plan I would put together.
