Reunite or rebuild

I just want an offense that can open holes for the running game, protect my QB, and not do something bone-headed that costs us or almost costs us games on a fairly regular basis. Give me that and the point total stuff will take care of itself.

For a minute I thought you were describing a coach that currently resides in Tuscaloosa. Will not get any simpler than that.

I am a UGA fan, no one and no coach is gonna change that.

As others have said, I do not care what the coaches name is. That being said I want our goal to be to win the NC first and foremost. Any losses that we suffer I want the other team to know they were in a dog fight.

I want a coaching style/scheme that puts UGA in a position to win against anybody. That teaches, and teaches discipline on and off the field and knows when it is time to make a coaching/scheme change if it is not working out. One that can motivate players/staff and fans without gimmicks.

I want a winner that will only accept defeat if he knows that the players have put forth their best effort.

I want everything Mark Richt is not, apparently.

bulldawg36869, the stats below open up a couple of reasons that folks are a bit upset with on field production this season. Did not know this, looking around and it kind of popped up. Against Florida, just don't think that this will work. However, with their defense, feel we might see more of the same. Not posting ugly, just trying to point out why I feel as I do about the coaching question Goose presented . . . and this is one of the reasons why.

Walsh’s 20 field goal tries are the most by any college kicker in the nation. That’s in any NCAA classification—FBS, FCS, Division II or Division III.

Walsh has made 12 of 20 this year.

I'm a pretty simple guy Buc. Give me an offense with a line that can keep my running game consistent and protect my QB... be able to eat up minutes off the clock....play smart on the field and on the sidelines, and everything else will fall into place.

I dont want to rebuild,but,sure would like a restart after last weeks game. That game and everything about it, except it was a "W", has in my opinion given us new reasons to pull together. We've got another week to put all that behind us,or, wallow around in it. I really dont want to see this team lose what they have been working for this year,and,until last Saturday it was evident that the team we saw at the first of the year was beginning to get it together somewhat. Although it was not where we want to be, and definitely not where we're gonna be, thank goodness its not where we were at the end of last year. Thanks to the D we are making progress. Go DAWGS! I look at the following link and it amazes me that we cannot stop the up and down ride that we seem to have with our football team. Folks the money is coming from people like you and me. A large portion anyway. Take a look. I would think that a lot of coaches might entertain the idea of living in Athens.
