Just my cheap 2 cents, but I didn't interpret the "Haters" comments by whomever said it as being directed toward a specific person. It seemed a very general comment.

We are all grown ups here-if we can't admit some of us fans (fanatics) are always going to "hate" on play calling, then this site isn't about being open and honest. I admit, I am really close to being a Bobo hater.

The reason is, no matter how well he does here out, I still want him gone. I don't know what the official definition of a hater is, but I may be as close as you can get.

I don't think the way the poster used it was a derogatory word, just the general slang for someone who doesn't like a coach--and most of us, if we are alone and quite, will admit we don't like Bobo. I.E, we are "haters".

Maybe you did not interpret the following statement correctly. Just for postings sake, the "haters" comment has been covered over and over on this board. It is not a word that belongs here, much like some of the "foul language" that is sometimes used by folks.

Haters, comment was not used in any disrespect. Funny, how we can be called out for being "Sunshine Pumpers", but that is not disrespectful. But I am going to leave that one alone because it didn't bother me.

I am a realist, and alwasy will be one. I have ripped bobo many of times. I agreed he has deserved it many times over again. Saturday, IMO, would not have been one of those times. We had guys running behind a secondary, and bobo realized they were not keeping a deep safety. Our WR's had 4 or 5 steps on the DB's. Those are throws that have to be completed. If they are, you get your blow out wins. Keep seeing lsu, and bama. They hit those plays. Hence, the blow outs. I am just not sure how bobo is deserving to be ripped this week. Used the boot play, had designed plays to use AM's legs, focused on running the football, and called plays that should have blown the game wide open. Again, I think after the BSU game, and take out the ole mis game, bobo has not done a terrible job. Do I want him to stay. Not yet, but I am interested to see how the rest of the year plays out.

I saw negative comments about our D, and that was really the reasoning behind the comment. Many believe ut is an explosive passing offense. I felt they were too. We gave up 6 points at the half. Pretty dang good if you ask me. Somehow, we kept a very good passing offense in check. But, we act surprised when they hit some plays. They have a lot of talent on that side of the ball. We wanted Rogers, and Bray is a great QB. They are going to hit some plays. I honestly thought if we held them under 17pts, it would be a great day. We did that. Great job to CTG and that D staff.

It is one game, but I was proud of them. That might change next week. I don't know. But I am going to give the credit for a good win on Sat. Everyone in that locker room knows they need to improve, but it looks like they are. Keep it up, still a long way to go.

Yes, I'm happy that we defeated the Viles, so that I can live out this next year giving my Vol friends a good ribbing! However, I'm not in the least bit happy with several things I saw Saturday evening! First and foremost, the O line meltdown in the 4th quarter was EMBARRASSING!...I'm beginning to have doubts regarding Murray's deep threat talent. The skinny post was open all night and aside from Malcomb Mitchell, Murray missed everyone else. Last season I had often wondered why Murray seemed to avoid AJ! It's becoming increasingly apparent that his verticle accuracy is.....diminished!...I'm not at all certain what we were trying to accomplish in the first 2 quarters? It was clear that UT had no run game but Bray ate us ALIVE over the middle! Where the HELL was our pass rush? Bray was completing passes to Rogers that took forever to develop...Our pressure on Bray was absent early on! Crowell is an awesome talent, but UT beat on him all night...WHERE IS BOO???...Carlton is a nice switch from Crowell, but we NEED a HOSS out there to spell both Carlton and Isaiah and it ain't Samuel.

Not at all surprized that Richt and BlowBo went vanilla. This is SOP for a CMR led team. You may see an occassional beat down, but they will be few and far between. Have we improved since Boise State?...Somewhat, mostly what I've seen is a defense that has stepped it up, but nowhere does this defense strike fear! We've now beaten 3 mid-tier SEC teams that we should have beaten, and damn near managed to give each one of them away! Yes sir, the SEC East is weak this year and we are right there in the middle of the weakness!

Now that my preseason prognastication is no longer valid, I'll venture a new assessment! I believe that the Dawgs WILL win the SEC East by default, winning the remainder of our conference games, with USCE losing one more than us! We will likely not survive Tech, although I believe it will be close...and Bama will destroy us in the SECC!...We will get a favorable bowl, perhaps manage a win and end the season 11-3...Richt will be vindicated in many eyes and NO coaching changes will occur! Mark will likely get a contract extension and we will begin again.....Deja' Vu!

Alldawg, agree that Sunshine Pumpers is much more offensive--the pumpers part, we all know what that refers to; "Haters" is a very general term that can mean different things to different people. "Also, many of us use "damn", "hell" etc, which can offend some.

But Buc, I won't use "haters" directed towards anyone. I do not want to intentionally disresepct anyone here.

Following is a paragraph I picked up from a Vols site.

UGA: The Bulldogs needed to make a statement Saturday night and that is what they did by beating Tennessee and edging a little closer in control of the East. The key for them is can they handle success and can they get by Auburn and Florida? The UGA secondary can cover very well and their defense continues to show they are a Top Ten defense nationally. I think they will win the East and Play in Atlanta.

Again it is the defensive side that is mentioned, seems to be that way in all pressers.

No doubt in my mind that defense dictates what this UGA team will do the remainder of this season. That is a good thing. Too many years passed with mediocrity being accepted.

Appears to me that Lakatos was an excellent hire. Would love to keep this group of defensive coaches for several years. Won't happen, playing defense like this, some school will grab Grantham. At least Grantham proved that he way was the best way for UGA on the defensive side. Players love him and the rest of the coaches. When was the last time we could say that?

As they say AD5....."one at a time".

we are slowly getting better every week, D is playing lights out (without 2 of our best players) and we are winning......my chest is gradually getting inflated again....but cautiously. :woohoo: :woohoo:
