4th qtr 0 points conservative play calling playing not to LOSE sucks........

I disagree in his one game. The play calling wasn't conservative. We throw a 71 yard bomb from our own endzone. Was that conservative? On the road, most people would have run it up the middle and then punt so as not to make a bad situaion worse.

I think that had AM attempted the 71 yard bomb on that play and had been sacked in the endzone with a safety, we would all be complaining about the call. Mitchell catches the ball so it's a good play-had something bad happened it would have been viewd as a bad call.

had AM hit on 2 of those 3 wide open bombs, we would have routed them. That "killer instinct" we all talk about.

We won the game. We basically shut them out.

lets move on to Vandy, an off week, and then UF.

YES IM HAPPY! wlayton is dead on w/ his post. And, I'll go ahead and say this. We run this baby out and finish up 11-2 w/ a good bowl win, then I say YES. Bring back the whole crew. Some of you wont like that, but I'm ok w/ that. Our D is straight NASTY now. Im blown away by the strides they made in 1 year. 2 TD's in 4 GAMES!?!!? I dont care who the competition is. That's pretty damned amazing. SIC EM YOU HAIRY DAWGS!!

that play was in the 3rd qtr.....if you dvr'd the game go watch the fourth qtr.....even CMR was not happy about the play calling in the 4th qtr......read the blawg in the AJC it said CMR WAS NOT HAPPY about the 4th qtr play calling........

I was happy with the win. Again, I though Bobo did a nice job. Put AM in situations to make plays. AM made some nice throws, but missed a few deep balls that could have blown the game wide open. I see where we are ripping the offense again, but I will again say Richt and Bobo did a nice job. Everyone just looks at points. Take the first drive for instance. 15 play, over 7 minute drive. Only got 3 points, but kept ut offense on ice for 7 min game time, which equals about 30min real time. Beautiful. They never got in rhythm after that. Very good. Came out the 2nd half, and the first 2 drives were totally dominant. Separated, and on the 3rd drive, we were on the verge of putting the game out of reach, and the penalty parade starts. By the way, the first holding call was a joke. Watched the play over and over again. Looked like a good block by AW. Don't really know what a coach is supposed to do there, but I thought ours did about as good as you could with half the field to go. Just try not to let it get any worse, and punt the thing out of there. Oh yeah, and they ate up 8 min of the clock while doing so.

Defense, very good performance again. Saw bashing on the D. I mean really. You hold a team that is averaging 40pts per game to 6 at half and 12 for the game. 270 total yards,and -20 rushing yards. I am hoping I read the negative comments wrong because that is about as lights out as you could get. ut has a very good passing offense. They will hit plays on any D, well maybe not now. I believe Bray is done for 6 weeks.

Happy with the win. I like the fact that I keep hearing the "we have a lot of room for improvement" from coaches and players. They are working and improving. Proud of them.

When I coached, players used to joke with us about always hating on them. They used to joke that we were "haters". That we would find anything to hate on. I used to chalk it up to how they were these days, but I believe I am starting to understand what they are talking about. I guess we have the so called Sunshine Pumpers, and the fact that the first things I saw right after the game were negative comments, I guess we also have "The haters"

ogre, I'm not saying I want Bobo back---I don't. he doesn't deserve to be the OC. BUT, had the players executed in the 1st half with Bobo's calls, the final would have been about 38-12.
