Win over TN but are you happy?

YES I'm happy with the win.......

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT??????


1. In their house
2. AGAIN....our OL is mediocre at best (ahem.....4 straight holding penalties??...if you are good you won't need to hold)
3. IC was definietly not 100% plus he injured his wrist....really dinged up
4. MM was hurt and missed the 4th qtr
5. We methodically got a 14 point lead and THEN started another drive from inside our ten yard line to their 20 before the penalty melt down.......great clock eating drive until then.....a score there and game over
6. A win ugly is STILL a win.....if I could have guaranteed all of you a 20-12 win, would you have taken it before the game??? YES, you would have!!


Bottom line.......we are getting better, granted small steps. We aren't going to be GREAT on offense with that OL, so quit getting so optimistic and disolutioned about them becoming a dominent OL, it ain't happening. Like stated above, we are playing 3 freshmen on offense, one redshirt freshman, a second year QB with the weak OL. We are going to win with D and hope our offense can "manage" to score 20-30 points a game.

YES.....as long as we win I'm happy.....we have to win ugly.....get use to it.

I remember an Alabama team that won some ugly games with John Parker Wilson at QB... D carried that team as well.

There is a lot of stuff in these posts. Those who know me know that I'm not bobo fan, AND I'm not sold on CMR.

That said, get real !!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like some on here have an opinion of what needs to be done and even when we have a good night, will still complain.

1. We all say we don't have the killer instinct. Had AM connected on 2 of those wide open bombs, it would have been over early. We went for it on 4th down three times. We had the instinct last night. Thumbs UP

2. Someone complained the TE was open all night. No he wasn't. In the 2nd ha;f he was shut down. We adjusted. We all knew going into that game that if we stop teir run, and stop da Rodgers, that we would win. There is NO defense that can eliminate EVERY player on a team. You have to pick and choose. How many rushing yards did they get???????? -20???? THUMBS UP

3. We played that game without our best pass rusher, and maybe our best LBer, with a banged up RB ad we STILL won by 8 on the road in the SEC at night.

Our defense is very good. We are getting better.

Vandy has NO chance against us. UF has NO QB. If we pull this thing off with a 10-3//11-2 type year with all we have coming back, and we add the speed RB next year to compliment IC (Keith Marshall), and add John Theus, who most think he will start from day 1,,,,,then I will support bringing everyone back--except Bobo.

That said, I can't complain about what I saw last night.

Very satisfied with any SEC win on the road. I watched the game with 3 Tech fans who were cheering loudly against UGA so it was a good time. Keeping Da' Rick out of the endzone was even better.

Here's some food for thought---
I've read several posts that if Richt wins 8,9,10 games, whatever, many people would be satisfied to bring him back as long as he got rid of Bozo. OK, but what if he doesn't (which he won't). Would anyone want to bring Richt (with Bozo) back if we won 9 games, beat UF, and went to a decent bowl game?

As posted by everyone else, happy with SEC win on road. Still unhappy about execution on offensive side of ball. We did some good things and we did some bad things. The most glaring is the 3rd and 50+. Total lack of concentration.
