My 2 obvious impressions from Sanford....

Richt at his presser heaped praise on Grantham, did so the week before. Something like the old saying . . . knowing which side of the bread to butter.
When Richt mentions the offense, these days he is real careful not to use the name Bobo a lot, matter of fact, calls his name seldom. As stanger mentioned in his thread, after Ole Miss, Bobo used a different departure gate.
So Richt loves the defense and said that the offense needs some work. Testing 1 2 3 4. Rocket science it is not Richt. As far as not showing what we have in our arsenal prior to the Tennessee game, probably a good thing, and again, if you believe that sort of thingy, have lots of land to sell down my way, real cheap.
Comes a point when facts start to present themselves simply by watching Richt at work. He plays scared. His favorite saying these days is, if the Oline cannot pick up the first down on third down, I will not think about another shot at a yard on fourth. That young fellow really breeds confidence into the Oline, like last season when the decision was made for the field goal against UCF. Oline did not participate the remainder of the game.
Richt also continues to try and "help" Walsh out of his slump. Could not the same coaching principle apply to the Oline . . . just asking.
Some on here don't like to hear the name Saban mentioned. SABAN, SABAN, SABAN. Anyone get a chance to watch a real head coach at work last night? Handed it to Muschamp and did not let up. Beat them up physically. Saban will always have the folks that really make for wins . . . offensive and defensive linemen. Those two parts work, the rest of the scheme falls into place. Remember this, we have two ex-quarterbacks running and ruining our football team. Some of the better winning percentage schools seem to like the defensive gurus as head coaches.
I am sure there will be more said during the week. Bits and pieces start to come out a few days after the game is played.
Players, good win, coaches, wake up.

Another thingy. Anyone that has been around this board for a while knows that I am probably the biggest supporter of AM. Back when UGA signed AM, I posted for all to see that Richt had hired a gunslinger, much like Bret Favre. They (Richt and Bobo) have tried to take a stallion and change it into a donkey. I don't like the interceptions, will say this, there will be more. Also not liking AM messing up and then showing his temper, gets him nowhere.
Walsh, same thing. From South Florida, while here in high school, kicking the football into the end zone frequently. Comes to UGA and the first thing they do is mess with the kid. Want directional kicking, totally screwed Walsh up. Looks as if Richt is trying to make up for this mistake also.
Those of you that are on Richt's bandwagon, I don't have a problem with that. I am guessing that you folks are seeing something that I am not. Hope that your dreams come true, I want to win games also.

well according to some he does not want any of our future opposition to see all of are plays.....Bobo has "secrets" don't ya know........
Great offensive minds give future opponents too much to prepare for, forcing them into a conservative
mode of play calling because they do not know what to expect.
Mediocre offensive minds... well we know what they do, don't we?

He builds a NFL team that wears collegiate uniforms.
Always starts with the OL and DL's. Then supplements with big bruising, hard nosed RB's........oh.....and no mistakes.

And jeez my apologies for bringing up the "did we go vanilla" or "no killer instinct" comment. Some folks jumped on that and tore it to shreds. After watching again our OL got whipped in second half. There, squash that part of the thread.
