MikeH and AD5, I'm glad that you guys can be happy with just the fact that we won, and I'm not saying that is wrong, but I'm not like that. Yes we won, but there were far too many coaching blunders going on that are going to get us beaten by better teams, and some of us feel that if those mistakes are corrected, we might not lose these other games. EVERYBODY sitting around me in the stadium KNEW we were going to pass on 2nd and 3rd downs after we got the ball on their 15. Everybody wanted to just run the ball and try to score. Question--since we all knew what was coming, do we think the MS coaches might have known? And do you think maybe the offense quits, maybe even subconsciously, after Richt shows ZERO faith in them by not going for it on 2 4th and inches in a row?????
A win is win in my book as well, but simply winning because we are playing far inferior competition doesn't make me giddy and I will point out the mistakes the staff makes over and over.
