Buc, just a point on the southern people being backawards. I saw an interesting documentary over the weekend about southern culture.

There was a piece on "accent and dialect".

This dialect coach from California said that the way we talk down here is more like the way they used to talk in the upper classes of England and Scotland. It's just now, with the biases against the south in the media and "cultural elites", we have been perceived to be backwoods.

Seeveee, come on down, I'll cook you up some vittles with saw gravy, and then we'll kill us a 'possums and fry her up, then maybe head over to a dog fight..........after we kick your ass.

An old-timer I sometimes go deer hunting with once told me that possum meat is SO GOOD that if you put a little piece of it on top of your head, you tongue will slap your brains out trying to get to it. Being of genteel and polite upbringing, I always politely decline that delicacy when offered, so that others may partake of my share.

I saw the same show. Hershel Walker was great. They went to church at nine and got out around three. And I thought I had it bad.
