I heard about the stripe being a tribute to Erk, and am glad that they want to pay homage to the single greatest coordinator in Athens history. Problem is, we are high into our traditions. I mean, we have one of the greatest uniforms in all of college football. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it would have looked way better with silver pants instead of all red. They're trying to push tradition onto the uniform.
As far as players reacting to what people are saying, if they love the uniform, then I'm glad they do and hope they kick some serious ass in them. Should it matter what we say about a uniform that will be worn once? I do wish the reaction could have been more positive, but that's Nikes fault, not ours.
