Well true, actually how many different ways can you assess the team......not rocket science.

His opinions ARE like everyone else.....he's a great source for gathering info mainly.

To be honest, I think replacing Van Halanger would have more of an impact than replacing Bozo.

You know, THAT may be our biggest problem that's flying under the radar a little. We're getting pushed around all over the field.

Dead on sadlerdawg...... ;)

Yeah, wlayton, and I guess that's what frustrates me the most about Richt. I would love for him to turn everything around and bring UGA back to glory, but I've read he is even better friends with VH than WM, so it's unlikely that he'll ever replace him. If Richt could make the tough personnel decisions (or, not even hire his friends to begin with), I think his job would be MUCH easier and I would like him a whole lot more.

I understand. Geez, couldn't he just at least tell him to DOUBLE their workouts??

sadlerdawg, for sure that issue has been raised . . . . again. When I read different views around the internet, some of them actually make football sense.

We have seemed to wilt when the game gets into the third and fourth quarters for more than a year. Interesting discussion on the Mat Drills going on. Read somewhere that this type of training is outmoded. Beginning of the year, listening to the talk coming out of Athens, thought we would be at least two deep on the D line. KG and others make me wonder what happened.

Can't put my finger on it, do know this, somewhere on the UGA football team, there have to be some changes. Changes could be in the type of players we are recruiting. The powers that be have a very challenging off season in front of them. Not just recruiting, but drills, scrimmages, and learning new systems, the plate is full when you are 6/6.

Also read somewhere today that RG's plate might be a bit full. Not staying for the full length of defensive meetings, having to also take care of head recruiting duties. In my opinion for whatever that is worth, RG and MR are much the same. Both are deadly recruiters, maybe they are a bit over extended or not sure of certain situations.

Head coaching at a major university has to be a lot like being the President of the United States. For damn sure you will add gray hairs, lose hair and you are wrong when you are right, and right when you are wrong. Like a dog chasing his/her :) being politically correct . . . tail.

Think if I were going into a head coaching job these days, not taking all of my friends with me. Ruins great friendships and generally causes turmoil. Bobby Bowden found out the hard way, and he and his wife are more than upset. It is called win baby win, university needs the money, past is the past.

I sure hope that we get several folks that say they want to play for UGA. If our season had been a bit stronger . . . win/loss, believe that some of the potential recruits would be knocking the doors down trying to get in.

Going to be an interesting year on the recruiting trail, and maybe personnel movement.
