CMR came within 1:30 of getting fired

I can't believe when GT called their last timeout, CMR didn't tell the RB's NOT to score if they were being allowed to run free to the goal line. Run to the 5, take a knee and get a fresh set of downs......GAME FREAKIN OVER MARK !!!!!!!

If we had lost that game in overtime, with THAT coaching blunder, I would have fired CMR on the spot !!!!!!

Absolutely no excuse in not coaching up the offensive players in that scenario.

Why did they stop taking a knee? I went for a beer.

Don't know but with it 2nd down and 1:36 left, they could have taken two more and believe time would have been very close to running out if not run completely out. If you needed to run an extra 5-6-7 seconds, just let AM back up slowly with the ball etc......game over. Why risk a handoff as well. :huh:

I actually thought the dumb coaching move of the night was not kicking the guaranteed field goal and deciding to go for it on 4th and short in their redzone with the score 35-34. A field goal would have forced Tech to score a touchdown, and even then with the extra point they would have only been up 3, so we would just need another field goal. We ended up not getting it and they got the ball back but we came up with another great defensive stand after that but had they been able to score, it would have been one of the better misques of Richt's career.

I am with yall, if it were up to me they would have went home in an ambulance. CTG dosent understand CLEAN OLD FASHION HATE!!!!!!!

Another great defensive stand? What is it? The defense sucks or they did some good things?
