CMR came within 1:30 of getting fired

Trying to remember, but did MR not play the same cards last year towards the end about WM. Thought I remember him saying things to indicate no changes were on the horizon on the defensive side, then it happened. We all know he handles things behind closed doors, respectfully and conservatively.

I want to see two things first thing after this debaucle of a season ends on the offensive side. IC becomes a Dawg and a new OC. Once the second one happens we won't have an ex RB coaching receivers and an ex reciever coaching RB's. That one always has me scratching my head.

Haven't seen this posted here and I try to read all posts. Talk about stats. WOW.

Carver-Columbus 40, Thomasville 14: Isaiah Crowell rushed for 305 yards and five touchdowns on 20 carries for Carver, which led 13-6 at halftime and broke the game open with Crowell TD runs of 84 and 55 yards in the third quarter. Thomasville QB Jeffery Dyson, a 1,000-yard rusher, was lost to an ankle injury late in the first half.

I don't want to beat a dead horse with the coaching issues so I won't.
If we had pulled out the Arkansas game, we are at least 9-3 or 10-2 and the best recruits are knocking the door down.
It was good to finally win a close one.
For all those West Georgia boys considering Auburn, do you really want to play for a program on extreme probation?

averagedawg, I am reading from the same page you are. Too much has happened with Auburn for all hands to be clean. All parties over there are saying the same thing where Cam is concerned. All say he knew nothing about anything. Scary how they are all using the same lines. If this turns out to be BS, there will be a black cloud over that school for a long time to come. Personally, would hate to see at this point, a father of a football player take the entire school down.

At some point, NCAA, FBI, SEC(right ;) ) have to come out and give John Q. Public some answers to the many allegations that have been made. SMU is just now coming back from a long and damning penalty that ruined a damn good school.

Saw that wlayton, trying real hard not to open up that lengthy back and forth on Richt and his choices. A lot of his close "folks" are in the Athens area now, know he wants it to work. However, the UGA Family is a lot larger than Richt and his close friends and family.

Have heard a few comments about staying with the present group. It will be interesting to see what UM does with Florida in the next couple of years. Same can be said about Saban. Will Alabama bounce back . . . DM at Miss State, was this year a fluke? Did SS get more than his foot in the door? Heaven forbid that Tennessee moves past us. In a nut shell, call it on the hot seat or whatever, coaching continues like it did in the Tech game, we are cellar dwellers.

Sorry, just not happy with what I see. Not going to put the "blinders" on to cross a bridge. You know what I am talking about with that statement.

Don't want Richt to lose his job, just want him to be able to keep up with the other coaches in the SEC. That is not totally up to him now that AD Mc is on board.

Sorry Buc, the last 7 games, I just don't see what everyone is seeing with the offense. The offense ISN'T losing us the games. As a matter of fact, the O is what's keeping us in the games.....i.e...UF, AU and big time against GT. Please enlighten me on what I'm missing on that side of the ball. I believe most on this board has gotten too enamered with CTG. I'll give him two more years and will forget this year (not fair to judge) but the D is atrocious.

Agree with everything about the D. Has been the main reason for barrier this reason, but I can see why some are frustrated with CMR. He is ultimately responsible for both sides of the ball. Offense did cost us 2 games. For some reason, it appears people think we should be scoring 40-50 points a game or something, cause we have been averaging a little over 30 against some pretty quality opponents, and somehow we are still focusing on the offense.

Please look at how many points UF scored against decent defenses. Go ahead and look at Ark, GT, and Colo. Numbers will wow you.

With all that said, we will get better. Great upside. Defense played awful but made the plays when the had too. Rivalry game and I believe many said they would just be happy with a victory. Doesn't appear that is true.
