Don't take this as being "completely negative", however . . . . The comment below from Mark Richt was expected. What I am saying is this . . . . Mark Richt does not do one thing when it comes to the way the defense is run during a game or on the practice field. If it were so that he is involved with the defense, he sure made some improvements when we look at 2013. C'mon we know that you are the head coach, Pruitt is not after your job. Stay out of the way, we know what is going on, and quite frankly, we are not in the arena.

I can buy into what the head coach said, I have also "repeatedly requested" that our head coach do that which he does best . . . . recruit.

Statistics below spell out exactly what has happened in Athens, in one short season. Will Friend's "friend" turned the program around, on the defensive side of the ball.

Georgia leads the nation in turnover margin, flipping the script from last season when it ranked a lowly 102nd in FBS in that category.

The Bulldogs are now plus-13 on the season.

“I’m very pleased with that,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said. “We work hard on it.”

Georgia has 17 turnovers gained and only four lost.

Buc, also the leading rushing team in the SEC.....12th overall.

Lots of folks read this board, has been discussed over a long period of time. When I read the article below, just reinforces what was said on Dawgs.com with a much earlier posting time than the time listed for the link provided below. Just go back a few posts and the "theme" of the article was posted there/here.

This board is far ahead of many that post and get recognized for their work. Nothing new, but have seen a lot of that recently, has been going on for a while, but recently it seems that it is happening more and more.

As an example, the current chatter about Todd Gurley. If any of us go to two(2) sites that carry what most of the local writers have to say, they say the same things over and over, repeating each other, just make a few word changes here and there, makes their day complete, filling space with the same copy.

Often I have used the words Coach'em Up and Mark Richt leave the coaches alone, which Richt has done for some time now.

When I looked at the video below, first thing that came to my mind was how happy Richt appears. Moving back to last season, you can check this out, Mark Richt looked anything but happy or pleased. Winning does wonders, but having a group of coaches that could care less about media sound bytes, focusing on the job at hand tends to make for a happy head coach.

While watching the entire video, just brings the same thoughts back to me that I and others have said on this Dawgs.com board . . . . One of Mark Richt's best attributes in my opinion is being the "front man".

Like what I see coming from Jeremy Pruitt as a coach, but there is no doubt in my mind that Pruitt is not as accomplished at being the "front man" as Richt is. Maybe that comes with time in grade, however at this point, we don't have the same "issues" that we had in the 2013 Season. When the head coach and those that work for him don't fit together as a team, that is when we end up with a huge mess that is hard to stomach.

If you have the time or are curious, watch some of the 2013 Mark Richt videos, not many smiley faces from Richt. Faces were more like this . Have the time, check the video below, probably some have already, maybe others have not.

2014 Season is not over, feel sure there will be back and forths on this board, but at this particular time, it appears to me that Richt "knows his place". If you take that as being ugly, that is on you. Simply speaking to what "I" see. Mark Richt is a solid producer on the recruiting trail. Like a puzzle, not finished until all of the pieces fit correctly.

Having lost to South Carolina - a loss that is now completely unimaginable, but there the "L" is, big and bold - I still think it's important to enjoy the misery of our hated rivals. That's because someday they will certainly rise up again and give us a reason to continue hating them.

But in the meantime, in keeping with the sentiment expressed by the title of this thread, "Time to Make a Orange Crush!!!", let's revel in the agony that has become Florida football. Or should I say "Florida Dumpster Fire"? While there are certainly a large number of unsatisfied Dawgs fans posting here (pretty much everyone, by my count), at least we can all agree on THIS . . . NOBODY HERE IS AS UNHAPPY AS GAYTOR NAYTION. To wit (ENJOY!):
