Don't mean to bore you folks, trying to get an overall feel for the current circumstance in Athens. Lifted the paragraph below from the internet, a view from outside . . . .
Mountain Dog 1 hour ago
James Coley, the current co-OC and QBs coach, is the favorite. He’s been with Kirby all 3 years in Athens and has been given increasingly more responsibility with overall game-planning and strategy. This has been a frustration for Chaney, especially when it’s become clear Kirby wasn’t gonna pay him anywhere near $1.5M to run the ball up the middle 30 times a game. And Vol fans, pray your O-line is the best part of your team cuz that’s what’s coming.
Eye balling some of the Tennessee sites, seems there is much happiness with Chaney's arrival. They certainly have a right to get a bit "giddy", PP and the coaches that followed PP left the checkerboard fans with a huge void on the football fields of the SEC. The Vol downfall began with Vol fans wanting a replacement for PP, that replacement being one that is now hated by most in Tennessee, Kiffin. Had some problems with Jones and still owe somewhere around 9 million to him. 4.5 million for Chaney over 3 or 4 years and the paragraph above in my opinion hit the nail on the head concerning Chaney's play calling . . . . especially in Athens. That ain't being ugly, referred to as telling the truth.
I would/will be surprised if James Coley is not "promoted". Try and say this without being too cute . . . . with the "talent" in Athens, "even Coach Coley" would have a difficult time failing. Coach Chaney got a 4.5 million dollar retirement guarantee for running the football against stacked defenses, so what's to lose . . . .

What Georgia has to do to prevent Clemson-Alabama V from happening
Headline in the article below . . . . Have not read the article yet, going to read after posting this . . . . find out the needed wisdom from those that write about Georgia Football.
My suggestion . . . .
Coach on the same or higher level than Alabama/Clemson.

After reading the article above . . . .
Totally agree with Coach James Coley becoming our Offensive Coordinator.
Also, stand with the statement I made above . . . . basically . . . . Coach Them Up! Have viewed too many "coaching errors" that border on pay schedule for coaches being way too high.

Couple of videos that I believe explain what "coaching" is about . . . .
Went back into the files from a while back and pulled the comments made below by Dabo Swinney. Spurrier makes/made a lot of "racket with his mouth", many times came back to bite him in the butt. Spurrier is and has always been about "Steve Spurrier", don't believe it, ask him or watch some of the BS he has tossed around over many years.
Watched the game last night on the SEC Network between Georgia and Vanderbilt. Watched the video this morning of Coach Tom Crean post game wrap up. All the difference in the world between Crean and Fox way of teaching/coaching and soon to be recruiting. Some can, some can't.
