yd1, we know that Jake is a "better than good" offensive lineman. He will get noticed after he sits out a year and then moves to the position that "I" believe he will play . . . . center.

Jake is all about football, understands the game, heart larger than many that play the game. Jake is the type player that coaches like "Belichick" select and there is good reason for that . . . . Some know, some don't. Jake's football career will actually begin in two (2) years. Love the guy.

Jake goes into the "vault" to be brought up later.

yankeedawg1, it is time (past time) for the many sites that are now on board with recruiting players other than what "they" have for years called the "skilled positions". All anyone has to do is "look" at "years" of what the "media" has chosen to hit the airways with what needs to be done.

Say again . . . . Can anyone imagine what the numbers would be if the "lengthy list of running backs" that came through UGA had an offensive line, a line like the one that Coach Sam Pittman is building through recruiting now would look like?

Again, that is not knocking the young men that played on the offensive line. In my mind it comes back to a lack of understanding by the coaching staff. My opinion, and I guess I am entitled to that for this reason . . . . Because I along with some on Dawgs.com understand football.

If "I" had to describe what I think Kirby Smart is doing, above everything else . . . . Kirby is building DEPTH.

If you are reading this post, if you are serious about Georgia Football, do a very easy thing . . . . Check the past x number of years and look at "our shortcoming(s)". OMT (one more time). We had great running backs, and what was "missing". This is not for the "bleeding hearts", some never figure out how to play the game.
