Good Morning all,

Going to stand down from the BPS for a week to pay respects to those who are serving and have served in the military.

Memorial weekend kicks off summer and some have a 3 day weekend.
For others this is a focused reminder of family members who have died
while in the service of country.

Now at least two generations have no or very little clue about how much was paid to keep us free and safe.

It is hard for me to come to grasps how 70 plus years ago 18 year olds walked/ran of the landing crafts onto the beaches of Normandy.

Now in 2016 we have 18 year college students demanding “safe zones” on campus because someone wrote a presidential candidate in caulk.

It is what it is…… just way outside of how I was raised to feel about God country…and...family…

Greg and your fellow vets at the VA… and to all our Vets…. Thank you for your service.

To those families who support or Vets a big thanks to you also…

Football returns next week…. Puppies arrive June First…fall camp is but a short Two months off….

Growl….. enjoy your grill… Buc….. me thinks something cold and flammable will be enjoyed by yourself this holiday weekend

Pause and give thanks

Have a great holiday weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1, it is comments in your Blue Plate Special that have some of us paying attention to detail and meaning.

Below is an article that I read that really gets to the truth about this family and what the men and women of this family have done to make folks like me feel good inside.

Nice piece of work Jeff Sentell.

First off.... Those who have lasted here at dawgs.com have all been shall we say corrected at one time

That's part of the real conversation about Georgia football
Which is why this board is the benchmark for the truth

No echo chamber here...not on Steve's watch....

Buc...your volume is exactly were it needs to be...

Also leaving the butt smooches to others..... I agree

Fun meter about to make big moves upward

Athens is still rocking...... Go Dawgs

Whether or not the article by Jeff Sentell is taken as strictly as a recruitment piece, Jeff says only this, open our minds and look a bit further down the road.

If the recruiting angle is to be brought to the forefront, I say this . . . . Recruiting in Athens has changed and changed for the better for football.

Kirby's staff that was mentioned in the article proves to me that the "depth" of the folks Kirby has hired shows "skill".

Go Dawgs :)
