Mentioned earlier that young men on Smart and Company's list are from the State of Georgia.

See and understand that Smart and Company are not using all of the scholarships "quickly". Coaches in Athens understand that when everything is cut and dried, "many" of these young men "want" to remain in state. Good feeling.

Continue to hear there are "some" that have said they will play in Athens, not committed yet. Much of that chatter is for the "click" folks.

This group of coaches, and this group is much more than Kirby. Smart was smart when he put this group together. No way we have the staff we have now if a head coaching change had not happened. Think about that . . . I do, a lot.

At this point, if we are able to sign 3 of 5 that we really want . . . . way the heck ahead of the game.

Do not see any of the 5***** athletes at this point on the list . . . . bothers me not. I look at the young men that want to play for UGA, understand the "right" coaching staff in place . . . . pp on the stars.

Here we have another podcast about what? UGA's offensive line. Feel sure those that read here often believe they are hearing the same talk that "we" have had for a "while" on this board. Glad to hear "others" . . . . long past due.

yd1. . . . you, I, and others on this board were on our knees asking for an offensive line.

Media was all about running backs, believe the offensive line was referred to as "big". Not smart, "big". Or to get right down to it . . . . "Big Uglies".

Cannot express how much I have enjoyed watching the 180 degree movement from those that all of a sudden "understand college football", and the road to "success".

Another piece of "chatter" on Dawgs.com that is yet to be picked up by those looking for the "clicks" . . . . keeping the coaching staff together. Lots of talk about "stuff", very little talk about Smart and Company . . . . as a "whole".

Yes, I understand "they" are working for a "paycheck".

Fans are more involved in changing the "process". Coaches and media. Half of the project has been accomplished . . . . new coaching staff, not sure about the other side.

Kirby will get their attention in Butts-Mehre. I believe that.

yd1, in my lifetime both in business and coaching . . . . it was called a "suspense file". Yep, I know that you know.

Sir, do not have a clue as to how long this group of coaches will remain together. I do know this . . . . best group of coaches both offensive and defensive sides of the ball that I have "ever" seen in the Classic City/Athens.

Phil Steele can say anything he wants, has earned the right to "predict", earned the right more so than some that think they are "all that" in today's world.

Say again . . . . If we win just one game, and the other part of the schedule we play our hearts out. Suits me. That was the way that Butts as head coach at UGA and the one man that should have been named the head coach, Erk, arrived at Sanford Stadium every time it was time to tee it up. Not golf, football.

Say another time . . . . Smart and Company will take up the slack, the slack that has been a horse collar around our necks for far too many years. We will compete in the SEC.
