Monday Happiness . . . .

"Pouty" . . . . Georgia Grad pops up again . . . .

Speaking to you and I about monies being moved around.

Do these "folks" for better or worse not understand than using a "word" not understand that what is being proposed when "chirping" about a million dollars or so for an improvement forgets "simple things".

Simple things are what Bill King brought forward several months back.

The AJC is so full of itself, and those employed are trying so hard to please Cox Corp. that they "understand" they have to "out perform" others.

Off subject . . . . Athletic Director Greg McGarity is a "lost cause". Don't believe that . . . . he will be replaced before our Head Coach is.

Bet that. Don't like what I have to say . . . . take a deep breath and ask yourself if you believe that hiring Kirby Smart ended our "problems".

Think about that. I do.

Often I question myself . . . .

Can I or should I depend on the media to explain to me why things will be better? Or, explain to me what college football is "all about".

Have one "simple question".

Most on this board and others are silent. Do not like it, but . . . . it is what it is.

Question is this . . . . what has changed? Not an old person like myself. What about "you" . . . . below the age of 50?

Are "you" really on board with UGA Football? Is that a fair question? Promise, just asking.

Sometimes the older folks should ask . . . . All of us love the Red and Black, just a different "time". . . . nothing wrong with that. Me thinks. Correct me if I am wrong.

Continue to post here, but . . . .

Go Dawgs :)

Dawgs.com is a "very good" board to post or start a conversation or (Thread) on.

I post here for a reason, that however is personal. "Unless you ask". If you ask, I will respond.

Has "Buc" been asked to move away from Dawgs.com . . . . go elsewhere . . . . I would say, yes more than once.

Why?

I have great respect for "those" that "I" have built a relationship with over many years. Would I leave? Nope. When it comes down to money, do not mean this to represent anything other than this . . . . It is about the Red and Black. When anyone works hard for many years, there comes a time when folks like myself can sit back and focus on where "you and I" want to go.

I am open to questions, but I don't really get into that or want that. Steve has "checked" me out, and I treasure that, for this reason . . . . Steve wants Dawgs.com to be a "step above". Much like SEC Football, Steve wants you and I to be simply this . . . . "real". Only reason that I continue to be a "loud mouth" on this board, I "trust" Steve. Kissing ass, do not go there, too old for that and comfortable with what I have done in soon to be 76 years. I do not kiss butt.

Go Dawgs :)

yankeedawg1, so looking forward to the "Blue Plate Special" tomorrow. Truth.

Another example of this guy’s ineptitude. He is simply not qualified to be AD. In the 6 years since he left FL, they still have not filled his position. He was not Foley’s right hand man, he was simply an errand boy. All the problems at the Butts are now coming to the surface because we now have a head coach who is willing to speak his mind and tell you exactly what the problems are. CMR would never put his bosses in a bad light as he felt that was not Biblical…McGoof and Co are finding out just how good they had it in that respect. Word is that he is freaking out over Kirby’s frankness on the speaking circuit about how far behind we are because he literally does not possess the skill set to lead…anything.

Copied the above from another site.

Person that said the above is spot on about Greg McGarity's worth in Gainesville, Florida. Errand Boy is exactly what McGarity was while at Florida.

Kirby is described above as being frank. Just another reason for hiring someone that left Athens, worked nine or so years in Tuscaloosa studying to become exactly what he is . . . . the real deal.

It has been said on this board, soon after Kirby Smart was hired that the media and others would find out quickly Kirby is direct, no BS, he is focused.

McGarity was #2 while at Florida, guess he did not receive the same benefits that Smart did as #2 in Alabama. Benefits being Kirby learned something, hard to learn anything when you are running errands.

Also on Dawgs.com it has been pointed out, soon after Richt was fired that only one half of the job was completed at that point.

Question is this . . . . What exactly has Greg McGarity accomplished since being "given" the Athletic Director's job? Certainly does not speak well about Mahogany Row folks if this was the best they could do.

From where I sit . . . . there is a lot of work that needs to be done to ever reach the heights that many loyal fans expect. One goal reached, we have Kirby Smart. Thanks again to South Carolina for forcing McGarity's hand. McGarity, there is a huge difference between Kirby Smart and Mark Richt. Kirby is totally focused as is his staff. Just stay the hell out of the way sir, you seem to have two left feet.

If you have not read the article below, one of the best articles I have read in a long, long time. Kimberley Nash continues to impress. She reminds me a bit of Kirby Smart . . . . hides from no one, always looking to improve the process. Good on you Lady Sportswriter.

If you have not read the article below, this is the article that Kimberley Nash has linked in her article. Covers a lot of territory.
