And this . . . .

Georgia folks not only filled Sanford Stadium, in my mind there was a much larger point made.

Greg McGarity, understand the "chain of command" will soon "demand" that butts in the seats have to "fork out more".

Stop, look and listen . . . .

Sanford Stadium was filled. The streets and places of business in Athens had the overflow.

Do not . . . . say again . . . . Do not play with the numbers on the value of a "seat".

The "company" is making a lot of money, choose your decisions wisely. Sanford Stadium filled, making money, does not at this point need "greed".

Players liked seeing the 93K, as did I. McGarity, as I have said, will keep my focus on him. Trust factor not there.

Seems to me that we have taken a "step forward". Management(?) don't (f) it up.

Listening to the taking heads. Have not heard this.

Our offense, regardless of which player was on the field at any time. Our offensive coordinator used a particular set to protect our quarterback, same damn thing that the gators did to us back in the day.

Back in the day with the swing pass, SS and after SS urban beat us with the same play . . . . swing pass. Why? They had speed and could read every damn thing we were doing.

Watching the Spring Game, I am convinced that this group of offensive coaches understand the game of football.

Swing passes, running backs, tight ends, and it appears a better offensive line than the 2015 group.

Yes, our quarterback "problems" seem to be secure for at least five years. Gives us time to add folks to the "always forgotten offensive line under Mark Richt".

Kirby knows what he is doing.

I watched the players faces during Dawg Walk and the amazement on their faces was undeniable, they were eating it up and want more. I'm with them, it was quite an outporing(a latitude of gratitude, if you will) of something that has been misplaced at UGA for many years.

Kirby, I am so glad that you are here and spreading hope throughout Dawgs.com

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

Chief, anyone that cannot see the difference in the "on field" portion of what has happened in Athens, my guess would be that they are few and far between.

Moving past the "on field", have to "chuckle" when I post this . . . .

Richt leaves and the "bleeding hearts" tell us, those of us that chose to listen . . . . program is going to hell in a hand basket.

This old goat is loving the silence, and there is a lot of "silence" since the arrival of Smart and Company.

Anyone . . . . anyone that understands football, especially SEC Football understands that offensive lines are what makes one third of the game move forward. That has been missing since . . . . ??

Look back at UGA Football and check that out. Mark Richt was a offensive coordinator. Plug a name in at UGA that understood more than some that wore the head coaches hat between Butts and Smart, the answers are there.

Smart and Company are in Athens to win, not sell Ford Trucks. Yes, said that.

Go Dawgs ;)

Buc, added one more piece to that OL you spoke of above. Netori Johnson. Four things I have noted today concerning the bigger picture.

1. One recruit who was there said the atmosphere was more intense than a regular season Alabama game he has attended .........

2. Bugger McFarland (IMHO knows his stuff and I watch him yearly on the network) compared the fist time seeing Eason live as seeing LeBron James live. Of course he wasn't saying he is as great as Lebron. The fact he SAID it.

3. Wray, the OLman from Tennessee took pictures of our crowd and sent to two fellow recruits who were at the UT spring game............they were impressed.

4. It has been noted that AU had 46K at their spring game.........hhhmmmm, don't we battle AU for many recruits? Me thinks we do. Now, right now, with brand new coaches at UGA so the odds are they will be with you four years vs the turnstile coaching vacancies at AU.......no brainer. UGA will win many more recruiting battles with AU than Marcia Richt did. Also, I believe Derrick Brown will regret going to AU.

Big picture: UGA will dominate the east the next 6-10 years. Doesn;t mean we win it every year, but I bet we win it more than Marcia did in his last 10 years at UGA

BulldogShannon, first time in my UGA lifetime that I believe we can now "build" as never before.

With the quarterback slot filled, but more important than that, the coaching hires are "spot on".

The East side of the SEC became a different "group" when Smart, Muschamp and McElwain tossed their hats into the ring.

Folks that I have conversations with recognize the "changes". Could and possibly will take x number of years, but they are "short years".

Could not be more excited than I am now . . . . that might not be the truth Shannon.

Talent in the Classic City will have a solid chance "every year" to play in the Final Four.

Smart did in a few months what the previous lack of leadership could not do in 15 years.
