Below is the video of Spurrier after the game. Trying to handle the loss, but he cannot stand Georgia and it hurts him to the core to say some of what he says.
Toward the end of the video he mentions that Georgia players were "mouthy". That coming from Spurrier made me chuckle. Never will I doubt that the 52 points will stick with him as long as he coaches.
Gets a bit "antsy" wanting to leave the presser. See him next year in Columbia, and who knows, we might have more depth.
rockdawg, pretty well known on this board that I am all about offensive lines. Watched #77 from St. Pete a lot during the game. He is a bad man, probably our next center.
DWS, Sony Michel healthy is a serious weapon. What I like about the running backs is the fact that they get along, none of that "other stuff" that sometimes hurts team play.
Did get to see Pruitt lecturing his players for some things that he did not want to see then doing on the football field.
sadlerdawg, been mentioned more than once on this board the need to take what the opposing defense gives us. That was too often ignored by our previous offensive coordinator. Long pass completions excite the crowd, don't do that much for wins and losses.
One player that really excited me in the game was Malcolm Mitchell. He was driving the defensive backs crazy. Took some big hits and bounced up ready to go. A healthy Mitchell means as much to our running backs as any other position. Mitchell is in for a big year if yesterday was any indication how he will play "again". He has been missed.
yankeedawg1, Chapel Bell ringing, music to my ears for many years, can only imagine now.
Have to put this in . . . . Malzahn/Muschamp, got it handed to you folks against LSU. Final Four my butt. Talking heads are just that, all talk.
